Great example. I would also have plenty of those to show if I recorded them
The cradle (45mm mCHA) was added together with the trunnions.
It was part of the breech prior to that, which can still be seen on Object 292 as it hasnt received most of the new modules yet.
And I would like to say certain gamer words every time my dart gets shafted by the cradle/trunnions or have my spall and lunch-money taken by any of the other hidden platings.
The autoloader module itself is also a new additional plating that wasnt present prior and as such, adds more stuff for spall to disappear on.
It also does not create spall itself either, which the h-drive modules do when being hit. Surely just a unfortunate accident.
And of course there are bs spots on other mbts aswell (merkava sides, merkava breech [Does it even exist?], Leo 2 turret-ring, Leo 2K turret [I hate trunnions], KPz/MBT-70 & XM803 mantlet, Abrams Breech, CR2 hull, Type 90 in general, etc.) but these tanks usually do not receive additional platings/modules that even further decrease the consistency of dealt-damage from shots penetrating them.
Russian mbts (Especially T-80 but also -72, -64 and -90) constantly and consistently receiving further artificial buffs to their post-penetration survivability is simply not healthy for the state of GRB, since it continues rewarding people for misplaying and getting shot, by letting them get away with it with comparatively minimal effect.
Not every tanks damage model needs to be turned into a KPz-70 mantlet but I guess that’s exactly where this game is heading.
I’d be fine with any buffs to russian mbts if it wasnt for the artifical damage-model buffs that make punishing their misplays continuously more unreliable.
Still no explanation from the DEV on the hand-holding RU MBT for like 4-5 years
This is not about the money anymore.
T-mains still swinging at top speed
They are the spacers for the ERA elements that keep them in the correct orientation.
The explosive elements have already been scavenged, likely for use on the opposing side’s vehicles.

It’s hand holding only to make them not shit lol, the T-series are barely competing for top 10-15 at most BRs, they are mostly just skill checks.
Man some of these are super frustrating.
Just gonna say though I think it’s more frustrating though when I get a shot on the T series and they can still turn and shoot without issue.
Would like it if they couldn’t rotate at all either like the rest of us.
To me that’s more of a glaring issue, but the shots you posted are certainly annoying.
I am suddenly very excited for that tank.
I have a few of their 10./10.3 researched but saving for gambling rn.
Final point is fair and reasonable.
Would feel better about existing mbt issues if EVERYONE couldnt turn their turrent when their ring/autoloader got wrecked.
Right now, things are partially implemented or half (you know), and I think it’s a hyge contributor to the toxic exchanges on the forum.
Folks get stuck thinking there’s a target (which might be in some cases, devs are people to and arent suddenly exempt from having bias), but in reality a lot of it is just poor follow through and implementation by devs.
Turret armor is outstanding, head-on several t-72s with only turret cheeks exposed and they simply can’t dent the turret armor with the 3bm60, though I have a habit of turning the turret a little sideway base on my experience it does drastically increase the probability of ricochet, a bit of like how people angle the turret of their Maus.
They are like twins, I hadn’t crewed the third one as it has a tea table on top of the turret which breaks concealment. If you reach the 10.7 version and finds its armor mediocre then look forward for the 11.7s because the cr2 has better armor at 11.7 than cr1 at 10.7.
If we are talking for “balance” reasons CR2 is one of the worst performing tanks.
It has weak armour, terrible mobility (cant even turn in place)
Fire power is middling and 4 round ready rack.
Its generally pretty poor.
Just unlocked the M1 and wow what a difference even stock it is miles more mobile than CR2 and stock round KEW seems to have more punch than L27A1
