5-6 russian bots constantly on this thread day and night for several months now, 24/7 and I still won’t admit there is no russian bias, because there is of course a russian bias in Russia Thunder, and it would take someone to be blind and deaf not to see it.

For anyone reading this whole thread and having even the slight feeling Russia is favorized in this game, I’m telling you : only injustice would make a grown ass man like me to invest considerable amount of my lifetime to denounce the bias towards Russia present in this game. It takes weeks for people to obtain & spade CAS en mass.
The December win rates wouldn’t be with the CAS, it’d be January/February.

You really love defending Russian equipment when USA has the best top end lineup in the game.
Most maps players choose are CQC which benefit high-mobility NATO tanks over the medium to long range Soviet tanks.

That statement is there to disprove that tank power has any notably impact on win rate.
You can give a man an OP tank, but if they’re unskilled someone in a vastly inferior tank is going to win.

I think you shouldn’t focus too much on the armor, but rather on the basket, the air, the BUGs, the obviously biased damage model of Russian vehicles, and so on. These are the most obvious manifestations of Russian bias

Peak prior to CAS parity was 56.7% in July 2025.
Last month Japan was at 48.9% despite CAS parity.
Good CAS has only ever been a neutral to negative consideration for win rate due to the cost of it & the lack of ability to win with aircraft; everything comes down to relying on MBTs & good players in them.

Plain and simply not true. Weve had many updates last year that either added massive CAS powercreep or SPAA powercreep without changing the tank lineups and all of those coincided with massive winrate swings.

CAS absolutely has an impact on the winrates of a nation, this is when the new multi-vehicle SAMs were added if I’m not wrong.
Since Russia is so reliant on their CAS at top tier, this addition really hurt them while they were still struggling to deal with the new AAs
You can only see the Russian winrates boost in october, which was when helis received LDIRCM iirc

Massive drop in Russian winrates compared to when SM-SV was added, showing only signs of decreasing further especially when considering the new additions next update.
From looking at this, you can clearly see how and why the winrates changed.
First screenshot shows before all of the winrates changed, as you can see it’s all pretty balanced, showing that Russian MBTs really weren’t insanely oppressive, even with Su-30SM and Kh-38MT other nations were able to deal with it.
First increase came from LDIRCM helis being added, with Russia being the one benefiting the most not due to LDIRCM being magically better on the Mi-28NM, not LMUR but instead the pantsir which could deal with them the best. Germany was the worst off at this point because everyone was relying too much on the IRIS-T.
The solution to solve the issue here is simple: nerf LDIRCM so it can’t act as a magical “fuck you” shield for IIR missiles as well as adding RCS to rotors so they can’t easily notch ARH SAMs.
Next boost was BMPTs which were obviously added a too low of a br, just like PUMA was in the past.
This is where shit started snowballing, people started getting majorly frustrated and didn’t want to fight the BMPT, so 1 death leaving became more common, lowering team quality, which lowered winrates.
Solution here is moving BMPT up to a good br where it doesn’t dominate (Done, it is good at 11.7) and then fixing the damage model regarding the turret ammo rack. (make it kill the tank or damage more parts and modules when hit)
Nerfing the spread next update is just the cherry on top.
Then comes SM-SV, which really killed people’s willingness to play the game at top tier.
Should never have been added, period.
Had the same effect on teams as BMPT, people don’t want to fight it, so they leave.
That, added to the effect of the BMPT really hit the nail in the coffin.
There’s really not much that can be done to balance it, but I hope the new CAS buffs we are receiving can reduce how strong it is
I can absolutely guarantee you that this kind of winrate boosting is not new to the game, it has happened with other nations, people are only reacting to it happening with Russia so much because it’s Russia.

MITL is not being added to helis next update, all in all the Mi-28NM is getting nerfed which is good.

I pretty much agree with all of it except for some small parts.
Id say the biggest thing for russia in that department was that Gaijin just added the LMUR as a 24k RP modification to a helicopter that has been in the game since 2021 while everyone else got a completely new 540k RP grind to get to the same level.
I agree that it happened with other nations as well but i think a lot of the frustration with the russia dominance is not just because its russia but mainly because the vehicles just shouldnt be as dominant as they are. Pretty much every problematic addition you mentioned has some at best highly doubtful quality to it that makes it incredibly good or is just straight up fantasy which will obviously anger people more than a vehicle just being good.
