The power system destroys your battery thus slows down the turret traverse + makes you stop + delete the quick reload rate with autoloaders. Only NATO MBTs have those power systems (and light tanks)
FCS also makes you unable to shoot, reload or move the turret on Leclercs. It’s the special touch from Gaijin who we all know loves France very much

2s38 and bmp series were one of first who got those modules afaik. And in their case damage is much more severe than stab turning off.
Oh, one more thing about 2s38. It has external fuel tank which still explodes and kills entire tank. Dont recall this happening to nato tanks

Yes which brings us to the second part i mentioned which is the devblog with the additional explanations why the basket is modeled the way it is i.e. all the bits and pieced attached to the basket and the potential of the basket mechanically jamming the drive through deformation and on top of that the extension of said mechanic onto the Challengers which specifically do not have a basket either.
Gaijin being obscure about what they would add after the vote is one thing but these 2 things are blatant double standards.

Well that is not that simple.

Yes the Challenger 2 doesn’t have turret basket as like in Leopard 2 or Abrams but it connects to something inside of the hull turning it into superstucture so saying it doesnt have basket is not option here because really crew is standing on something, something that is moveing with the turret.

2S38 was the very very first vehicle to get detailed damage model.
You voted to let Gaijin cook up what vehicles got what modules and the effects they would have. you cant jusr now say “no no but this isnt what I wanted”. this is directly what you voted for, to give Gaijin permission to fool around and do what they want.

Yeah and now go a bit further and think if we might have vehicles in the game that don’t have a basket either but something similar to what you just described.
