Russian Bias in 2026?

Same for all MBTs

It’s like a 5 second repair anyways

Russia wasn’t the first nation with fox 3 for a premium aircraft though.

Yes, I know. It’s a premium Swedish aircraft. I’m just being sarcastic. Whenever there’s something new, they always give it to Russia, even if it’s just a display model, a prototype, or unfinished. They give it to them so easily. On the other hand, when we just want something new or a change, they refuse, citing insufficient information, lack of basis, and a need for clarification.

To be fair - with the 27ER - they probably didn’t NEED one…

well then time to do something we did years ago to make them do what we want for the sake of the game? iykyk
This is just sad how russian nationalism kills this game by making only one nation standout

1938 - 1941.

If you call Soyuz paper, you’re calling M10 Booker a paper tank.

Soviets are the same rules as everyone else.
I get Russia’s your favorite country of all time, but calm down.
There are no paper ships in War Thunder.

as an fyi,

these are all the blue water ships that were never completed in the state we see them in game (and are marked as such with ‘project’ in their name instead of a year of fit)

the Soyuz is not the only, and not the first ship to be introduced with its circumstances. and as you can see, russia isn’t even the one with the most unfinished ships.

how f igla lock me heli from 5.7 km? + igla have 5.2 km range but i want to lock only from 4.2 km works the missile + helicopters have les sheat than jets no?

I mean that’s exactly what fantasy means though

Armor could not exist as is. As it stands, it’s just a fantasy of what it could have been. Richelieu’s designer’s plans did not include giving poor accuracy to the 4x380mm, but guess what, it’s still what happened, because good old physics don’t care about your plans, and you can’t take all design flaws into account before construction, there will always be bad surprise on complex machines such as ships

And what is the only ship at top tier that does not have to deal with its IRL counterpart’s design flaws ? You got it

Should all be removed tbh

I’m calling it : floating hull.

Turrets, engine, fire directors, guns, main armor ? Thin air

Doesn’t really sound better than paper to me, but it is what it is i guess

Some helicopters have broken IR signature for more than 7 months now. Most likely, because of the infantry mode.

The fact russian top tiers are among the only ones without turret baskets should already say enough.
Actually the BMPT EXISTING is already enough.
The answer to the title is: Yes. And it will always be yes. Gaijin will never change.
I hate this game, and yet I keep playing

Then you’d have to remove M10 Booker, all prototypes, & all trial vehicles as well for fairness.

Something which I disagree with.
Ships already have the strictest addition requirements of any vehicle in War Thunder, making even more strict is silly.

How so? All the other vehicle types have to have moved under their own power at the very least as far as i know. Ships can literally be a bunch of steel on a slipway without any major other components ever built.

Breaking the power system kills the power thus the ability to have fast turret traverse + can’t move + autoloader doesn’t work in terms of faster reload on MBTs having autoloaders, like the Leclercs en Types

No russian MBT has this new ability, especially made to screw NATO MBTs, again

All nations except 1 nation

I wonder why

We didn’t ask for more modules you can have the honours of a pioneer with the new modules you asked.

Drawing the line for this is obviously complicated.

Do we stop at paper designs ? partially constructed ? in service ? with or without IRL flaws ?

At the end of the day, no matter what you chose :

  • Rules should be applied equally amongst nations, which is currently not the case (as BMPT and turret baskets have demonstrated)

  • In service designs should not be overshadowed by not completed ones. Kronshtadt is for example notoriously weaker and actually balanced, and everybody stopped complaining about it now.

Sovetsky Soyuz on the other hand - and to all of those that don’t play naval - would be the equivalent of a BMPT in armor, except it also boasts what i would consider the naval equivalent of a Leopard 2A7 firing some sort of APHEFSDS (high pen, high explosive, because once again, who cares about physics), with a decent reload

Sounds balanced enough ? I’m not done : it’s also one of the only ship that can rush towards you and not die because of the multiple layers of armor on the bow, absent on any other ship, which means all other ships have to angle (except yamato, in that thing you just stay far and show the side or die)

they were asked specifically for 2s38 though and more broadly light tanks

But your bias is kind of showing with that message ngl

Aaah yes, only NATO players asked for modules, just to sabotage themselves

Prevent russian players from getting them as well, they’re better than us
