BMPT and Pantsir SM SV in direct succession is truly one of Gaijins balancing masterpieces.
It’s really insane how every update is a completely unbalanced mess essentially since June last year and Gaijin just doesn’t give a damn.
I am seriously dreading this years updates especially if they really add 5th gen fighters, because those really need proper balancing but with the current attitude Gaijin has you just know that the SU-57 will curbstomp everyone else.

Out of 19 games over the past two days 4 of mine have been victories, the rest I have been facing Russia. Two of those victories were becuase Russia was magically not in those games. It’s like the sun came out and the birds started singing.
I am mentally drained at this point with this nation and am ready to take a break again even after being back for like less than a week. I am not even agitated anymore just dissapointed. A dang mess.

To be fair, what exactly was going on in 2019? Like oh no, the MiG 19 could do a quicker vertical loop! So broken! Meanwhile here we have a damn near indestructible vehicle that can somehow take shots like an alcoholic on a Specials Night.
Update 1.87 happened. That update added the 2A5 which was leagues ahead of the “competitors” that Gaijin added alongside it and the 2S6 was added as the only missile AA for 3 months.
Also later in the year the Ka-50 was added, kicking off that era.
I will admit 2019 wasn’t as wild as 2018 in terms of balance.

Even surely 5th gens aren’t comin this year christ, Though I suppose we’ve jumped from F16s - F15Es and FGR2s - typhoons in a shorter period than we went from the korean jets to coldwar.
this game is no where near ready for 5th gens at all man. Su57, F22, F35 etc etc not a one.
Mark my words, theyre 100% going to add them in the winter update. F22, Su-57 and J20 and then the F35 copy and paste slop in march.
Absolutely correct but Gaijin is for sure ready for the gigantic mountain of money theyre going to make with them.

I don’t believe their long term denials at all, but within a year I’m at least 50/50 on believing them.
As far as I remember the Oxy statement was about the F-22 specifically, but it has been a while so I could be wrong.

the biggest issue Non russian teams face right now is longevity, so many leave with one or two deaths and it leaves a lobby half empty, allowing russian teams to roll over them

So why isn’t the game ready? Stealth technology? all modern radars featured in the game at the highest ratings will not experience problems due to the reduced RCS. weaponry leaves much to be desired. The game has simple rules = more missiles, more kills.
