Counterpoint: The russian bias comes in when russia gets another boon thats at best highly doubtful and at worst completely made up. Youre right that the new Pantsir, CAS and BMPT are the biggest offenders but the MBTs are not innocent either, its just not enough for them.
Omfg thats so not the problem, its literally a T series hull, the thing is you cant learn to reliably kill it if there is no way to kill it when only the turret is visible thanks to its absolutely broken damage model. Your HE shot is nice but only works on the premium one and only if you hit the aluminium bulges on the hull.

What? The BMPT can reliably pen the side of a 2A7V and kill the basket in no time thanks to 550rpm the only MBT where it would somewhat struggle is the 122 with additional composite sides
If they fixed the overpressure bug (bs), it’d get pretty good after the protection fix.
Even if they get the jump on an MBT the apds will struggle to pen the sides long enough for the MBT to react and kill/cripple with one shot
The only MBT they might struggled with is the CR 2 with the add-on package and the 122B+, any other MBT melts (~1s). I have the BMPT-72 and talking from straight up experience playing it.

A easy thing point is that ta genuine difficult to fond problems with how russian top tier tanks are currently implemented (that are making it worse that is), sure theyre mediocre tanks but its not like they can be any better(there small upgrades but theyre different models), i would be surprised if there is a single non russian tank that doesnt have glaring issues limiting its perfomance(chinese included). Nothing short of giving t90m a fake transmission or even more dubious survivability can make it better, 3bm59 wouldnt be a relevant upgrade, arena-m is niche and currently aps is saved for the worst top tier tanks that can get it.
I just don’t want facing Russian MBTs to become too easy. I already have a 3 K/D in my M1A2T without much effort, so nerfing Russian MBTs would probably increase that even more.
Pantsir-S1 belongs at 12.7 due to a still extremely strong kit. It retains 20km missiles that reach max speeds of 1300 m/s extremely fast, can intercept 4 munitions at once with the search TWS on a ESA track K band radar–which many aircraft can’t detect–that highlights dozens of targets making it great for the heli spam meta, can pick up very low flying targets if the radar is set to 30 degrees, and still has a high missile count for an SPAA.
It’s still a bit too strong as just a 14.3. Compare it to the F-18E at 14.3 which are almost identical with each other in their radar and missile count but the engine performance on the Su-30SM beats the F-18E significantly and the R-77-1 is a significantly better missile for these slower aircraft
Maus was removed from the German Tech tree for being “hard to balance” by Gaijin’s own statement, I don’t see why this can’t be the same case. Also the tech tree BMPT’s problem specifically is that it has a 5 man crew that are significantly spaced apart with spall liners and double stacked overperforming Relikt ERA that eats side darts for breakfast
Do you honestly believe the F-15C GE is on par with the Su-30SM?
The Su-30SM2 is significantly better than the Rafale by a wide margin and I’m tired of people pretending these two aircraft are even close or that the Su-30SM2 is worse; the Su-30SM2 is the best jet currently playable in Air RB and undoubtably in Air SB.
The Su-30SM2 can do BVR the Rafale cannot, the Su-30SM2 can shoot it’s missiles while notching the Rafale cannot, The Su-30SM2 can use are maximum of 14 missiles the Rafale cannot. The MICA-EM is better than the R-77-1 in 20km but that’s assuming the Rafale even made it to 20km with the Su-30SM2 Iron doming incoming MICAs while pushing closer to the Rafale that is forced to constantly play defensively.

Oh I fully agree. The post I replied to initially called the Su-30SM a bit too strong for 14.3 and implied that the 15C GE is worse than it, but imo you can’t move the Su-30SM to 14.7 while leaving the F-15C GE at 14.3.
Either keep both at 14.3 (and move the J-15T down, please help that thing) or move both to 14.7 (seeing as the J-15T is already there).
