Talking about the MBTs the comparison is quite valid, ARiete is considered one of the worst in teh game if nto the worst , and they can and do have better KD than russian MBTs.

The russian Bias comes in when it comes to the ridiculous handholding of their CAS , new pantsir (old one shouldn’t be 12.0 either but here we are) and ofc the ridiculous addition of the BMPT.

Russian CAS is dumb af I agree, however other nations have more comparable CAS now too. (Israeli F-15 with like 24+ F&F munitions, Rafale for example)
New pantsir shouldn’t have been added but I’m sure we will find counters soon enough. (Brimstones are very effective surprisingly, I’ve noticed that myself from being forced to play SM in SQB and from fighting it in live matches as the euro)
BMPT is basically PUMA 2.0
People will eventually learn how to kill it (surely they will)
It can’t genuinely be killed like the Puma. You can overpressure Puma with anything that has HE in it, you can’t do that to a BMPT. It also doesn’t have the level of armor, so any frontal fight with anything that is an MBT is automatically lost, not for BMPTs, they’re not comparable in the slightest.
The 2A42 is also vastly better at incapacitating MBTs than the MK30-2/ABM due to fire-rate.

With a lucky shot… you kill Puma’s with 20mm HE ;)
You can easily recreate it in prot analysis
the kill shot unfortunately only works against the premium one which I don’t see as often
Then it means hitting it in a match is a 1 in a 1000 shot, not comparable to this happening to the Puma every second match:

Keep in mind premium t-80 sits at 12.0 and constantly gets dragged to 12.7-13.0 while my SEP variants sitting at higher br.
So its not valid when using cherry pick stats.
That’s strawman, the point is any amount of HE works and that Puma is vastly easier to kill than BMPT ever was, and will be.

This is kind of a no-brainer, PUMA is a light tank.
Either way both were batshit insane on introduction. PUMA is dogshit now and the BMPT is also losing its presence now

You obviously don’t understand the point of debate.
Puma is an IFV… that is meant to be vastly more tanky… (survivable against 57mm APFSDS) but it’s not Russian so Gaijin has been ignoring bug reports on that since 2021 or 2022 :)

It really isn’t, the TT one is as strong as it always was, the premium one fares a bit worse however, mostly because it’s survivability isn’t as bonkers.

it getting more tanky won’t save it from just getting disabled after a turret shot either way.
it’ll lose to an MBT in most scenarios.
Even if they get the jump on an MBT the apds will struggle to pen the sides long enough for the MBT to react and kill/cripple with one shot

My man I could share my T-80U-E1 results where I managed to get 6+ kills in full uptier but that doesn’t prove anything.
