More missiles paired with R-27Es give it a significantly better offensive advantage.
R-77s and pre-nerf PL-12s were about equal in strength.
The worse awareness thanks to the radar and rwr coverage are mitigated by player skill.
The flight performance is close enough to be negligible from what I’ve seen so far.
J-11B does have the lower skill floor, but a good player will do better in the Su-27SM. Especially with the state PL-12s are in rn
