I wouldn’t mind missing out on 2 missiles on the RU Flankers, they already have enough as is, plus it would make Su-35S more special when it comes out.
It’s a common misconception, I only learned about it a few days ago.
But if you think about it, it makes sense since the R-27E series began testing ~1986 whereas the Fulcrum was put in service in 1983.

I just checked, according to Mikoyan, the MiG-29 cannot carry R-27E series, But the MiG-29S can.

War Thunder is a simulator. All simulators are games.
And missile availability isn’t a realism standpoint, but an authenticity standpoint.
But yeah, double racks make sense since the manufacturer made them for advanced Flankers, and they’re seen on Flankers that were initially produced in 2012.
Without evidence of avionics lock-out/degradation, compatibility is reasonably assumed in the era of solid state computing.

Man I just played quite a few matches at 10.7 tonight, the entire time it was filled with Russian CAS, Spruts and T series tanks that would roll every match, I think in the amount of games I played I can only pick out 3 matches where my team won, and those matches had Russia on my side. Give or take it’s not every match no, but you cannot ignore the fact that Russia has a 60% win rate at every BR above 9.7, literally every nation with the except of Italy and Israel (above 11.0) has a win rate below 50%. Win rates are the smoking gun man. Now I’m an average player, not good, not bad, I don’t have a 1.0 KD, but I at least contribute to my team trying to win.
Top tier has a clear Russian bias at least for ground battles, air is a mixed bag.
Still waiting for AGM 114L for use in the AH64D w/ it’s radar. We have seen that the new pantsir can lock multiple targets, time to upgrade the Apache Longbow :P

yeah so why i have to sweat in us / german / italian CAS while russians have the magic mach 2 missile?
do you reallly miss the point that russian bias what we mean is not a single vehicle (excluding the bmpt and pantsir) but the damn entire lineup you can have to pump out damage compare it to others…
the 2 points the flighpath of hellfires/jagms and the damn kh-38 mt you mix those two add a spam of tanks and you have games where no matter what russians dominate and the win rates say it all but you avoid those points because you know you can’t say anything about that… you play the “try being in the middile but it is how it is” game where you defend russians while saying oh yes only the bmpt and pantsir is op but you fail to notice other stats of other vehicles which when mixed take the fun out of the game… even the amount of players playing russia says it all…

Hell in the Abrams I can honestly easily take a whole lot of T-series with me before they get me, problem is for every T-series I take out there is a teammate feeding.

Because people are tired of KH-38MT,LMUR,BMPT and Pantsir SM-SV spam so they just wanna rush get as much as kill possible and hop onto the next game.

Today I fought toe to toe with F-16C pobit and JAS39E in my SM-SV, i completely locked the airspace and intercepted their munitions constantly, they became so angry that they decided to toss their entire munition on me only to get killed by my hypersonic missiles while their remaining munitions intercepted by me and my friendly Pantsir.
Gripen pilot was so furious that he was swearing on chat.
What’s funny is they were crushing us before getting into CAS but me and other Pantsir turned the table by cutting their air power, that way our team managed to won the round.
Honestly at this rate I can’t blame them, the whole situation is completely fked up and certain Russian platforms needs proper balance/nerfs

I can’t blame them for being mad/tired about these (although I barely play CAS so I can’t really relate to fighting the SM-SV).
It would help if they actually managed to get any kills though.

You’re doing good keeping your sanity in check by not fighting against smart SM-SV player.
Those are helpless and can be found in every nation, honestly premium T-80UE and Type-90 players are worst on these days, in trying to grind my BMPT line-up by using 12.0 line-up and most of the time I’m ending up with those type of players.

Gaijin’s bias is not the vehicles Russia and China have, but the complete utter ignorance concerning patching Nato vehicles and selectively picking old dated vehicles for Nato. Basically Gaijin thinks that China and Russia’s military suck so badly they need to face our old vehicles
Gaijin doesn’t like China and will model things incorrectly, and not change anything because there is almost zero sources. It’s wrong to lump Russia and China together, when one is clearly favoured more. They ignore Chinese vehicle fixed just as much as NATO ones.
On a side note, the best tank in China is American, and their best plane isn’t better than the F-15 Golden Eagle. (It’s even worse in multiple ways)
