I try to take people serious until they prove me otherwise. But yes, I think he might be under some sort of influence and blind rage for Russia. Best advice for him is play Russia and stop drinking while on forums.

He is completely biased against russia and if you look throughout my interactions with him he also says china are biased and stronger than NATO which just isn’t true lol.

Yes, he’s definitely biased from what I’ve read. But seeing he doesn’t even take the gameplay serious already tells me his opinion is useless. He can’t expect a team to carry him every game if he’s not “sweating” and playing without a care in the world. He probably sees anything red, J’s out, takes a drink and hits forums.
Top tier is currently broke with the BMPT META tank. I don’t believe Russian Bias exists but in terms of BMPT “Russian Bias” season is still here.
I am also in BMPT forum complaining and giving sheer gameplay data where I went top 3, 10 games in a row with a 10 win streak.

As far as Russian MBTs go, apart from BMPT and SM-SV (SPAA). Russian bias doesn’t exist, the Russian MBTs are by far the worst in my opinion. I’m on this forum stating Russian Bias doesn’t exist.

I believe the “bias” for the MBTs boils down to how Gaijin implemented ERA and how the autoloader tends to eat more spall than the turret baskets on Western MBTs do.

Every nation gets there bias from time to time. When Germany got the IRIS-T and CAS mains across all platforms cried their eyes out and we would tease them “Just spawn a tank” because it used to be CAS being extremely OP and these players would say “Just spawn a plane.” Overtime, people learned they couldn’t just fly high anymore 24/7 and adapted to flying low, myself included. The problem with SM-SV, it’s 100% no fly zone being the most broken spaa in game right now wiping all anything thrown at it along with taking you out in its insane mach missiles.
As far as BMPT and SM-SV go I can say yes, Russian Bias. The only way I can kill an SM-SV is getting the drop on it with either guns or dumb bombs. Anything else is useless. The CAS such as planes and Helicopters are not a huge problem if you bring the right lineup for the jobs. Hint: ADATS and ItO for Helicopters only
No other trees top tier competetiveness is entirely reliant on selective realism besides russia tho
I agree, but Gajin tries to balance those trash cans one way or another. Would I prefer Gajin stop giving every nation 12.7 when they really don’t have it? Yes! But even with the selective handholding given to Russian MBTs they still suck (minus BMPT and SM-SV). Using the T90 after playing USA and realizing it can’t fking reverse when I just peaked to shot with a 7 sec reload time is brutal. And when Abrams and Leos play with braincells, I cry in any Russian trashcan. The main problem at top tier is people not having a proper lineup. Too many new people flock to USA and Germany but there’s nothing Gajin can do about it.
You can tell if you’re going to win by seeing what tanks you teammates have. Sometimes they only have 1 so RIP.
I honestly think what makes Russia so dominant at Top Tier is mainly the CAS and the SPAA that back it up (The BMPT is also a big issue but Im not talking about it)
The MI-28NM is not hugely dominant because of the sheer amount of people that have it (It does play a role in it tho) but rather because NATO SPAA aren’t as good as what Russia has and don’t have anything close to what Russia use. For example the Pantsir SM-SV is really good at killing the FnF helis even good at killing the MI-28NM but its Russia so they have the Pantsir on its team by default (unless its a mixed battle ofc)
I suppose the problem arises when with that method of balancing, it would force modern Russian MBTs to face much older western MBT designs. Say for example if you based on what you’re referencing, the IPM1 would be more comparable to the T-90M. I fully get your point and where it comes from but it’ll have a lot of consequences.
The Multi vehicle SPAA are good but they struggle at killing the MI-28NM due to its LDIRCM and they typically fly either close to cover or low enough where multipathing protects them
USA/ NATO dynamic of spawning CAS every game is threatened by the SM-SV. Russia having it gives them a clear advantage since it can wipe out the skies in minutes and allows for the team to push while SP has been wasted on bombs or GBUs. Would be nice if SPAA has higher SP instead of a static 90? 70?
Now, if all CAS is wiped you can spawn your CAS and after that it’s GGs since people are then switching over to SPAA. From my top tier gameplay on both I can understand why Russia got the SM-SV. When it’s not in the air there is some much CAS you genuinely can’t do much about it against NATO. When playing US, now all the CAS is dead and enemy is pushing their CAS

I see that Top Tier nowadays is just a race to see who can get their CAS off first and who can protect their teams from said CAS better
Another thing is Russian tanks tend to benefit from volumetric armor due to how ERA was implemented. Gaijin subcontracts other studios to make the vehicle models, then applies their own damage models, modules, etc. ERA, for example, is just simply modeled as extra destructible armor, which means it will perform in ways that shouldn’t be possible. A game originally built for planes is going to have problems with making tanks works sadly.
