BMPT is Russian Bias for sure. If they wanted it fixed they would fix it but they don’t. They 100% intentionally put it in the wrong BR to begin with. Increased it 2 BRs to where they intentionally wanted it.

BMPT is not “Russian bias”, it has already been explained via ignorance.
BMPT is a brand new type of vehicle into War Thunder.
The closest comparable vehicles to BMPT are IS-4M, M4A3E2 Jumbo 75 and 76, Matilda III, and potentially others I’m forgetting about.
Gaijin couldn’t have known those were the closest comparisons cause who in their right mind will think “BMP3 armament with armor? Yeah, that’s a heavy tank.”
No one, especially not Gaijin whose made identical mistakes with EBR, Puma, PT-76-57, and so forth.
Whenever a new class of vehicle gets added, Gaijin almost always fumbles the BR horrifically irrelevant of tech tree.
So yeah, Gaijin did not intentionally put it at a lower BR than it should’ve been, as that would’ve required there for there to be this class of vehicle prior to the addition of BMPT, but there wasn’t.
Yep, and BMPT was 4 - 6 business days.
Time doesn’t really matter when it’s still Puma/EBR/PT-76-57 situation again: Brand new class of vehicle turning out to be vastly more powerful than Gaijin thought.

Please point me to the non russian vehicle boasting an ammo layout where a continous belt gets separated so ammo wrecking the crew doesnt work.
Yeah a vehicle with 12.3+ protection turned out to be too strong at 10.3, who could have guessed? A blind comatose lobotomy patient could have.

Gaijin’s vacation goes from December ~23rd - January 8th to cover all potential holidays for every employee.
Also… there is no burden of proof for an argument I never made.
As for burdens of proof though… to anyone claiming that a tensioned belt of 30mm ammo should catastrophically explode if 1 - 2 rounds are destroyed… please prove that a tensioned belt of 30mm ammunition will cause catastrophic failure for the whole belt if 1 - 2 rounds explode.
Cause right now, I don’t know. I’ve tried finding evidence, but until I do I cannot have a take on tensioned munition.

I just want to say that I have no horse in this race and that I agree that the BMPT damage model is busted.
However I just wanted to point out that the ammo rack situation for the M1 Abrams was also pretty funny on release.
the ammo rack absolutely needs a change.
Fix that, then we should see about br changes

BMPT can’t be nerfed because it would ruin “”“trust”“” people have in Gaijin in dishing out P2W premiums, imagine Gaijin releases the premium F35 (somehow at 13.7 idk) with 12 FOX3 only for them to remove the FOX3, they need to avoid blowing their consumer base trust and the BMPT is a staple of it
I gotta admit that im not completely familiar with that situation tbh but the thing with the BMPT that they actively modeled it like that in a later change. The decision to deliberately model it differently than other vehicles with the same layout is the bias.

Premiums have been nerfed/fixed since forever, only the really big nerfs like the Italian M60A1 have had any serious effect/backlash. The Italian M60A1 situation is also likely why they handled the CV90105 change the way they did.
