BMPT is not “Russian bias”, it has already been explained via ignorance.

BMPT is a brand new type of vehicle into War Thunder.
The closest comparable vehicles to BMPT are IS-4M, M4A3E2 Jumbo 75 and 76, Matilda III, and potentially others I’m forgetting about.

Gaijin couldn’t have known those were the closest comparisons cause who in their right mind will think “BMP3 armament with armor? Yeah, that’s a heavy tank.”

No one, especially not Gaijin whose made identical mistakes with EBR, Puma, PT-76-57, and so forth.
Whenever a new class of vehicle gets added, Gaijin almost always fumbles the BR horrifically irrelevant of tech tree.

So yeah, Gaijin did not intentionally put it at a lower BR than it should’ve been, as that would’ve required there for there to be this class of vehicle prior to the addition of BMPT, but there wasn’t.

Yep, and BMPT was 4 - 6 business days.
Time doesn’t really matter when it’s still Puma/EBR/PT-76-57 situation again: Brand new class of vehicle turning out to be vastly more powerful than Gaijin thought.

Please point me to the non russian vehicle boasting an ammo layout where a continous belt gets separated so ammo wrecking the crew doesnt work.

Yeah a vehicle with 12.3+ protection turned out to be too strong at 10.3, who could have guessed? A blind comatose lobotomy patient could have.

Damn i must have missed how 10.7 was the correct BR for it. Oh Wait it wasnt since were at 11.7 now.

Protection that’s also seen at 10.3 as well.
The latter part of that sentence is classic hindsight bias.

Also you mistyped, it was moved to 11.3 in 4 - 6 business days.
Gaijin’s vacation goes from December ~23rd - January 8th to cover all potential holidays for every employee.

Also… there is no burden of proof for an argument I never made.
As for burdens of proof though… to anyone claiming that a tensioned belt of 30mm ammo should catastrophically explode if 1 - 2 rounds are destroyed… please prove that a tensioned belt of 30mm ammunition will cause catastrophic failure for the whole belt if 1 - 2 rounds explode.

Cause right now, I don’t know. I’ve tried finding evidence, but until I do I cannot have a take on tensioned munition.

I just want to say that I have no horse in this race and that I agree that the BMPT damage model is busted.

However I just wanted to point out that the ammo rack situation for the M1 Abrams was also pretty funny on release.

BMPT can’t be nerfed because it would ruin “”“trust”“” people have in Gaijin in dishing out P2W premiums, imagine Gaijin releases the premium F35 (somehow at 13.7 idk) with 12 FOX3 only for them to remove the FOX3, they need to avoid blowing their consumer base trust and the BMPT is a staple of it

I gotta admit that im not completely familiar with that situation tbh but the thing with the BMPT that they actively modeled it like that in a later change. The decision to deliberately model it differently than other vehicles with the same layout is the bias.

Premiums have been nerfed/fixed since forever, only the really big nerfs like the Italian M60A1 have had any serious effect/backlash. The Italian M60A1 situation is also likely why they handled the CV90105 change the way they did.

You are being a tad hostile from my perspective, Ngma.

I never responded to any post talking about BMPT’s ammo implementation, nor have I made any post making claims about belted ammo stability in my entire life.

Also, the business days from January 8th to the 13th was 4: 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th.

On top of that, Puma wasn’t moved to its 10.0 BR that quickly either [and time doesn’t matter anyway].
It was initially moved to 8.7/9.0, then later moved in a higher engagement, but when we speak about how quickly EBR/Puma/BMPT move up we’re talking about the big moves.
Cause who cares that Puma was moved up to 8.7? Let alone how quick it was?
It wasn’t quick, but it doesn’t matter because speed of BR changes is not relevant to anything other than discussing how apprehensive Gaijin can be about moving vehicle BRs up out of weird fears.

P51H5NA has yet to be moved to the same BR as Spitfire Mk24, and it’s been over 5 years.
Is that American bias? Or is it just ignorance on the vehicle’s capability?

Fury… we should have calm nerves when discussing things.
You should not be upset.

As for the “videos” showcasing things, all those things have been occurring against most tanks in War Thunder; from bad shots, to negative consequences of simplified armor modeling, to server related issues impacting survivability.

So Mr Fury, please meditate, have a nice drink, and I’ll keep doing my best to show respect to you so you feel heard.
Cause I do read your posts, I take in your perspectives, I enjoy reading and I especially enjoy reading perspectives that differ from my own so I can build a larger picture of things.

The premium BMPT is far, far less survivable than the tech tree one.
The tech tree one can survive shots the premium one can’t due to flaws in how ERA casings are modeled, as well as flaws in how tanks move server side.

And casings are a universal issue, as ARAT 2 ERA casings are flawed and cause issues if you hit weird spots.

Yeah because there are very few things that are more annoying than people having no idea what theyre talking about but still feeling the need to utter their opinion all the time.

And the days between 24th and 30th of december dont count?

It got moved to 9.0, all moves after that were not specific nerfs but general moves of the entirety of ground rb. It matters because it shows that Gaijin absolutely does react quickly if they have to.

What exactly does a statistically unremarkable 6.3 plane have to do with the fact that Gaijin artificially buffs the BMPT by giving it a fantasy ammo layout and refuses to fix or even comment on it?

You see, last I checked the P-51H was the best prop in the game, better than some 6.7 and higher aircraft.

But because it’s A: a prop and B: American, the average player sucks majorly in it so people don’t notice or care.
Just like how zeros are constantly going up thanks to everyone and their mother trying to turnfight the plane literally known for turnfighting at low speed.

Or maybe because it only has machineguns and everyone else has cannons and turn better. It’s no doubt the best at its BR in terms of BNZ flight performance, but that alone does not win battles.

I mean thats good and dandy but wheres the connection to the BMPT? Neither does the BMPT perform unremarkably nor is the P51H good, because of some blatant modeling bs (afaik).

People love to completely ignore the fact that not just Russia has overpowered vehicles.

They just gloss over it and then either complain about volumetric bs again using clips of them shooting the same spot every time expecting a different result or some other subject instead.

Or make false claims and manipulate data like a certain individual did.

Those vehicles are in the past, I don’t care about the PUMA or previous broken vehicles the problem right now is BMPT is broke and everyone knows it is. I’m not debating that it might be broke, it IS broken. If I wanted to discuss other vehicles that are also broken like T58 i would go to other forums. BMPT is clear russian bias

Even in test servers people were laughing that the BMPT is 100% in the wrong BR.

BMPT is now in the past as well.
It’s now becoming the same BR as MBTs that are superior to it.

There’s an argument around powerful 11.7s shouldn’t be facing 10.7s like Abrams and Leopard 2A4, and that’s a valid discussion to have, especially since 12.7s are 12.3 and 12.0 across tech trees.
There’s plenty of room for the most powerful 11.7s in the game to move up to 12.0 and 12.0s move to a more correct 12.3 or 12.7.

If BMPT was “Russian bias” then Russian bias doesn’t exist because there are equally powerful vehicles across many tech trees, let alone the more powerful vehicles such as MB326K at 7.3 [soon to be 7.7]; and M1A1 HC which is easily more OP than BMPT, but no one talks about it cause it’s not “Russian”.

Nah fam, BMPT is still dominating brackets at 11.3 with Russia just last month having an ungoldy win rate.
