u do realise the 28nm has the worst ldricm out there? You can kill it even with ir missiles
Yeah. With new missile and 2/6 smokes looks super nasty. Overkill and not needed now. It is possible that this vehicle will create an ultra-high risk zone for helicopters closer than 6-7 km.
3 games in so far and it’s not off to a good start for Russia.
Spoiler

Set up this basic excel sheet to track things for myself. I’ll collect more data tomorrow.
Why are you even entertaining his ramblings? Just tell him that his tiny amount of games is statistically insignificant and be done with it. The people have to learn that their anecdotal evidence is worthless.
I honestly got curious so I wanted to to track my winrates.
Besides that I have some top tier stuff to spade (CR2E, Sky sabre, SAMPT etc), enjoy higher tiers and I need to get back into these BRs for sqb next season.
I’m aware:
But guess what I need to do to fix that (A tiger player’s worst nightmare):

Is this the result of a late night out drinking?
Imagine unironically arguing that bad players understand the game better than good players.
That is quite simply untrue. Youre correct that vehicles need to be partially balanced around the average player but the potential skill ceiling of the vehicle is at least equally important and for that the opinion of good players matters.
yes… because the majority of players are casual gamers and have a life… a good player even with a broken bad vehicle will do some good stats while the majority won’t… why did people jump to the russians to play the bmpt ? because it wrecks the entire battlefield…
Edit: why do I have to sweat playing USA to win when I can hop into the russian vehicles and have better Win/lose ratio with out sweating ?
When it comes to CAS you have 38Mt missiles while other nations have brimstones (nerfed) / mavericks (bad missiles and easy to intercept)
When it comes to helis
mi-28 with LMURS guaranteed 6 kills (giving 2 missiles miss or dont kill but rarely happens) or hop in an apache with 16 fnf missiles with what 4 kills? or maybe hellfires that don’t follow the flightpath like they should (same with fnf missiles tbh)
and top tier ground? why bother playing abrams when i can hop in russians which can bounce shots easier since they have smaller weakspots or play the bmpt without using a brain just pressing W ?
THIS IS A QUOTE FROM @AspectOfTheRAGE he explained it well to you in a different post.
Or other changes that aren’t announced nor have any sources provided for them (thank god datamines exist so these changes arent entirely hidden):

Or here’s them randomly deciding to make it significantly harder to overpressure T-90M:

(if you understand how overpressure/pressure damage works in this game, then you should also understand just how significant and stupid these two changes are).
And ofc there are also Contact-5 and Relict casually auto-destabilizing the best APFSDS rounds in the game at any angle and distance, reducing their residual penetration to such a degree that their damage (fragmentation count, amount & penetration) can become nearly non-existent - aswell as heavily affecting their trajectory.
The destabilization effect of the Relict/Contact-5 tiles on the skirts is also 5x higher than that of Duplet, despite Duplet having either the same (relict) or significantly more (contact-5) listed KE equivalence.
There are several other examples to bring up but I believe this to be sufficient to illustrate what I am trying to convey.
I could ofc go over e.g. Leopard 2’s and M1 Abrams being artificially nerfed in several ways through changes that at the same time benefit russian mbts (modules e.g.), or LMUR’s being added as hardcounter against IRIS-T the second the absurdly overpowered russian cas (SU-30SM // KH-38MT) had any counterplay whatsoever but this has probably been done to sufficient extend by other people in this thread.
To be quite honest, I would not mind any of this nearly as much if it wasnt for these things increasing gameplay inconsistency as much as they currently do.
Shooting weakspots/critical components should be rewarded with reliable results instead of being another roll at the slot machine that ends up punishing you despite not making any mistakes.
Using only winrate is a bad idea, and I think Gaijin is onto something to be using their efficiency metric for tanks (AKA SL earnings). However, the game shouldn’t ever be balanced around the lowest common denominator because it leads to situations where better vehicles are at a lower BR because they are played by idiots.
If this is true, we should also ignore people who perform worse in Russian style MBTs than NATO ones despite them saying they are better.
Try playing a different BR where US CAS dominates (nearly every other BR).
100% agree with you here but saying that good player opinions dont matter is not correct when balancing high skill ceiling vehicles is just as important as balancing for the average.
Absolutely right but thats exactly why you have to make arguments that are completely independent of any player skill whatsoever. Just say that the BMPTs fake belt stays fake no matter if youre good or bad at the game and watch necrons soil himself and run away since he can’t answer that by simply pointing at his stats
NATO vehicles remain superior to Soviet vehicles regardless of his skill, and his skill different won’t ever be relevant.

All taken just today. 2 shots to th guns, 0 damage.
2 shots center mass, no ammo explosion, turret ring only goes yellow, 3rd crew member takes no damage from spall. Games a joke
Yep precisely the stuff I was talking about. The turret damage model is so terrible that engaging a hull down BMPT is nightmare material compared to everything else in the game.
why shoot btw the barrel when your suppose to know that the ammo is in the other side.
gotta be a joke.
Maybe take a look how far away I was, and the fact that was the only thing I could see to aim at
sure you can see the small 3cm barrels but you cant the huge ammo belf box on the side.
As far as I know, they use average SL earnings without modifiers (per hour I think) for their BR calculations, and I assume in their other balancing decisions as well.
Germany, Russia, several American tanks, and even a few British or French tanks. I agree that Russian T series tanks do have some of that playstyle, but they aren’t exactly stellar vehicles, just like how the panthers aren’t the greatest despite having good armour and firepower.
@DSRT888
Being inferior =/= being inferior to a state that warrants a BR difference.
Soviets, Russia, and China also aren’t “NATO counterparts” [vehicles that also get uptiered, are poorly modeled, and have bug reports “ignored”].
The fact you think NATO players aren’t well tells me everything about your hatred of everything non-Russia.
