Warthunder official tournaments is made in a way that participants must play russian and NATO MBTs, so it gives the feeling both sides have the same chances to win against the other and make people want to play the game
It’s pure marketing and advertising for the game, that’s all.

How is the T-90M useless?
Cannot reverse, extremely slow reload, slow due to lousy engine, 50 foot tall mg turret (useless) break stealth, ugly etc. This tank is good at nothing except being a punching bag.
