I was and still am against the AMRAAM nerfs and am in favour of specified seeker buffs for each missile

in the last month there were ~1 million games played with chinese air from 14.0 and up
vs over 4 million games with planes that use amraams
I have pretty much every single relevant top tier jet and I’m honestly quite tired of the one-sidedness of balance and the sheer disconnect developers have. Both the PL-12 and AIM-120 should be able to turn. Developers have genuinely convinced themselves that the ONLY metric that matters in this game is range when range never comes into play and they’d know if they actually played top tier air RB.

The AMRAAM does not pull a lot but it’s at least not realistically rollable and the major complaint we have is that it’s terrible at HOBS. You can literally fly into this thing and win.

Guys, we shouldn’t argue here. Instead, we should make a joint appeal to buff every missile, so that there won’t be too big a gap between them.

Not as easily ircc. You can roll it and you can also just outpull it like the rafale does in the video ar close ranges

Im worried for aam4s now, those have some outstanding engine buffs are they going to get the same g pull hammer?

This is not okay, the Su-30SM2 and Rafale are already the most meta planes and their terrible decisions are widening the gap even more by making sure they also have the only good missiles.

Yep, just like I said. Every missile should have its own unique traits. Let their outstanding strengths in certain areas make up for the overall power gap, instead of nerfing them all into mediocrity and wiping out their unique characteristics like what happened this time.

The thing is other nations do have HOBS (9x, asraam, iris-t, pl-10, etc) it’s just that they can’t be added.
So instead we have some dumb meta where instead Russia, China, France, and Japan are the only nations that are allowed to have good HOBS

which has been shown to pull much more than in game and have some HOBS capability, but gaijin decided it cant pull

If all of these missiles (AMRAAM, PL-12 etc.) just pulled around the same as the AAM-4 it’d literally be fine
I’d expect things like the literal Meteor to pull as little as the current amraams, not the AIM-120C5
