you know that this means absolutely nothing right? BMPT have FCS and electronics modules modeled but they were disabled in code for that specific vehicle, just likey every ATGM vehicle have handpicked missile launcher damage model, despite general rule… but yea keep coping
you can search for multiple vidoes of people complaining and showing in sensor view how R77 tracks planes at 5 meters above ground without any problem while AIM 120 missing plane going HEAD on at 1km alt. And if i have to choose if i ahve to believe those vidoes and my VAST experience in sim vs gaijin word i will pick the 1st. We all know how gaijin copy paste vehicles but the one vehicle they “forget” to model something here and there. Just like BMPT somehow missing damageable modules, T tanks having reduced spalling and so on… Not my problem you guys need to lie to yourself in order to pretend this game doesn’t have selective modeling for certain vehicles or nation…
I can also cherry pick videos that show the opposite happening.
You forget a very important thing. Nobody mentioned Gaijin’s word. The data sheet I linked has stats datamined directly from the game files/code, which was datamined/put together by a group of very credible people (including Gszabi). None of these people work for Gaijin.
So yeah I believe a document made by credible dataminers over a random guy on the forum.
Quite a skill problem, isn’t it? Looks like you’re are multipath user, rsrsrssr. The only thing happening is that the R77’s loft is much higher than the AIM-120’s, meaning it will hit you from above, and this mechanic, which should be nerfed, won’t save you from an R77 coming from above your head.
when in 1 of 10 examples AIM 120 hits plane near ground while 9 of 10 R77-1 do opposite it just proves my point anyway…
All you said that it have same seeker, which means it is tracking or should track the same, which it doesn’t, because R771 just tracks near ground better. If its by hidden code or by other missile trait which is handpicked by gaijin i dont know. Fact is R77-1 reliably tracks planes at ground level or even on RWY when taking of and even when platform which fires is is ground hugging to… AIM 120 wont hit anything below 50 or so meters no matter what.
That’s just verified information from sources you praised above…And ehm autoloader…
“low” altitude is broad definition. ground level? pure nonsense for Aim 120. Getting lecture from one of trio forum trolls pretending everything is ok with russia while making claims like PUMA is better than BMPT and other quite funny statements is very laughable at best :) You, Renzo and Morvan are quite notorious for your forum patrolling and rushing to defense on definitely not Russian bias. By the way your claim that AGM 65 is better than KH 38mt or is its equivalent is also quite funny.
just 3 of you :) there are even post on redits about you sitting on forum almost nonstop spreading nonsense.
KH 38 is same as AGM 65 and Pantsir is not strong SPAA, no need to do anything about KH 38, its now 50/50. Your words. I wont be spamming this thread with all your nonsense on this nor i will spend hours searching for every of your fantasy claim in different threads.
@Hans_von_Grobel
You can think Kh-38 and AGM-65 are the same if you want, but I won’t think that.
I was calling for CLAWS equivalent SPAA since 2022. Pantsir, an inferior SPAA, was added in 2023.
CLAWS finally got added in 2025.
I’ve been calling top CAS OP since 2021.
Kh-38MT is superior to AGM-65D no matter what you claim.
Pantsir was never enough to deal with top CAS added in 2022 and 2023. CLAWS and equals were necessary.
Pantsir, CS, etc were good counters to CAS added in 2022, but with LGBUs gaining CCIP, and Pantsir being knee-capped to 13km against jets for the first 17 months of its life, LGBUs were still okay against tanks.
this forum isn’t any better, its highly moderated and most likely paid trolls like Alvis are pretending to argue about everything. To flood the forum with nonsense.
What ever floats your boat. All your replies and claims are free to check. I wont waste my time doing that. You are almost nonstop posting about everything everywhere and i wont be wasting my time with you, you are not arguing you are just flooding forum with nonsense to please gaijin. Again you are well known all over the internet, better to change your name again RazerVon
you clearly said otherwise in KH 38 thread. btw Pantsir isn’t alone on map right… love how you are on purpose missing the whole context of russian vehicles supporting each other in one huge combined arms complex with several game breaking examples.
@Hans_von_Grobel
Dude…
People are not malicious because we call out BMPT being OP and Kh-38MT being OP when both were blatantly OP.
People are not malicious for complaining about BR compression.
These aren’t pretend arguments, these are valid criticisms we have as thousands of people.
I’ve only ever said Kh-38MT is more powerful than AGM-65D in a direct comparison:
March 2025, and was implied in the post in October 2024.
However, implications aren’t as good as explicitly saying things so I made it explicit in the March 2025 edit.
I’ve said both are more OP against ground units, forcing players to spawn CAP to deal with Kh-38MT and AGM-65D slingers consistently.
Pantsir only got its 16km effective range in October 2024 after a guidance buff to its missiles that major update.
The fact that no one had a CLAWS equivalent SPAA to deal with F-15E and Su-34 was atrocious.
I also never gave an opinion on the Yak’s 45mm APHE round anywhere online; So I’ll give one here: 45mm APHE fired from an aircraft is at least a top 10 anti-tank round in the sub-8.0 BR aircraft.
Is it the best? Probably not, but it is at least potent when in the right hands.
