Been spading the pantsir recently, you actually don’t even use the radar to do these airspawn kills if the player is dumb enough to let you.
You just find where the airspawn is on the map and when you see a black dot render in which will be seconds before you radar picks up the plane you fire a missile before you even lock, then lock in IRT ideally with your search radar turned off and there isn’t any other SPAA players on your team to ping them, that gives you like a 5 second or so advantage in the launch, then it comes down to whether or not the pilot is smart enough to check for smoke plume coming from spawn, and then it comes down to is this person really just gonna assume there is no SPAA up because he isn’t getting pings, and then decides to just kinda loiter in a straight line from the air spawn.
At 10.7 in 2s6 you kill about half of players this way, at 12.0 in the pantsir i’d say maybe 1 out of 10 players let you do this, skill difference is immense between these brackets.
Planes like the typhoon and f15 etc. that have insane engine power and know what they are doing dance all over the pantsir and its just a fat sitting duck to them. Pantsir was a whole lot better when it was first added and the scariest things it dealt with was like what phantoms and whatever other garbage was flying then. Its gets powercrept every update with all the new planes getting crammed into 12.0-13.0 in GRB.

how is your random YT montage valid proof then?
I get it because I used to be the same way, lack of perspective makes the grass look a lot greener on the other side.
People also tend to vividly remember bad things more than good/normal things, wont bat an eye for blowing up x tank in 1 shot 10 times but the 1/10 times it doesnt happen it might as well happened 10 times.
