I’ve done that maneuver in that air show a number of times.
It’s hard to get on video cause I can only reliably do it in cockpit view cause 3rd person camera movement messes with me too much.
That video has nothing about disproving its current meta dogfight performance.
you mean it falling out of the sky due to a lack of lift with it barely being able to point its nose around
then there are also occations where the post stall manouverable plane, the Su-30SM, just completly locks up in a post stall
then you should know that it is not achiveable like it should be
during a cobra the pilot only uses pitch and neither roll or yaw
the manouver is shown at airshows to demonstrate the the flankers dont loose lift asymetrically in a symmetric manouver, yet you start to wing stall asymetrically during a cobra in war thunder
Look, I believe there is a slight Russian bias but nothing too crazy that the game is unplayable. The is-2 should probably be moved up to 6.7 on account of its tremendous firepower and armour. Also the pt-76-57 is a lil unfair with a stabiliser and laser rangefinder. However, all nations are superior at some point in the tech tree, for example Germany starts off really well but starts to struggle around 6.7 as US tanks become powerful.
There is one Russian that works in archives and has access to documents regarding russian tanks, he said that above 6.7 (?) tanks are “buffed to appease patriotic fanboys”. This doesn’t mean that those tanks are necessary OP, just that they are better than they should.
There is also problem with a lot of russian shells because they perform better than IRL (57, 85, 122 and 152 for example), and some parts of certain tanks are smeared with butter (turret of T-44 for example really likes to bounce shots).
This doesn’t mean that other nations doesn’t have tanks that are OP, but for some reason they are concentraced in certain nation.
Few years ago there were datamines of hp of certain parts (engines IIRC), russian ones having more than the rest, GJ after this moved a lot of statistics from client side to servers.
After playing quite bit of all nations I can easily say russian tank overall are easier to play.
There are also other things I could say but I would be named few nasty worlds from players that ignore facts (I probably will be anyway) and this post would be hidden.
just like germany at 6.7
the tiger 2 is by far not the worst tank there
i was replying to your statment of russian tanks being easier to play than the ones of other nations
yet that isnt reflected at all by the statistics.
You would expect russia to have a higher winrate than germany and the US especially at 11.7 if the T-80 premium were easier to play than the Leo 2A4M and the click bait.
I understand but for me that is weird since its not what I personally see. I also don’t play above 7.0 to much so there I don’t know.
NATO tanks over all are better but russian ones are easier IMO, I also do not trust WR at high BR’s because of spam of new players that bought their way there.
I do not think that WR statistics are good to compare tanks because of factors like:
What lineup players have or do they have anything more than one tank.
How do they play, do they try to win or just kill most tanks they can.
How good are they, good player in shitty tank will do more than shitty player in good tank.
Do they play alone or in squad.
Their tank is stock or spaded.
Do they know how to kill tanks they fight against.
Do thy know what ammo use at certain situations.
Do they know where to goo at map thy play.
Upptier or downtier.
What teams they have.
I added this, maybe you agree or not.
I forgor to add what crew they have. Or if they have eyes, there is a lot of players that are just lost when they play.
Thats just not true.
Russian tanks are harder to play due to bad gun handling/depression and medicore at best reloads.
And then you have the absolute atrocious mobility on MBT’s like T72 and T90.
The “RU tanks are easier to play” parroting is years old by this point.
No one realizes they have by far the most flaws that directly impacts bad players.
