If so, i can’t see it being too good with how easy stuff is to notch/multipath.
Much larger warhead than the aster (70kg vs 15kg) means you cant multipath it, also way better top speed and acceleration meaning missile will get to you before you can react properly

it doesnt lead the target properly, same issue with the AH-1Z but it is more visible there
unlike some other helis that get perfect lead for their guns

It looks like the missile 9M317M is semi-active
That would go a long way in defending against it, even if they make it immune to multipathing thanks to sekrit technology like the ldircm.
Still means high altitude flight is only allowed for russian jets, even more than before
b-b-b-but 70km max range isn’t more useful than 30km

Pantsir has been countered by my Harrier GR7 from its release through mid 2024.
Pantsir has been countered by my F-16C, Mirage 2000D, and so froth from release to present.
There was never a point where Pantsir was good against top CAS.

The “buff” is to Kh-38ML mostly because Kh-38MT is 30km launch range limited due to the game limit of 30km, and Kh-38MT’s seeker range is 14km so you’re at most launching Kh-38MTs at 21km irrelevant of launch ranges higher than that.

You do get that a number of NATO airforces still use Warsaw pact vintage Airframes, or have accrued FME airframes over time (When is it being added to the US tree, right?).
As for actual in game examples though you have the East German MiG-29(9-12A) and subsequent MiG-29G in the German air tree, and assorted Copy paste jobs in others like the Hungarian MiG-29 (9-12B) and MiG-29 Sniper.
