Isn’t the Buk ARH or am I getting it confused with something else?
If so, i can’t see it being too good with how easy stuff is to notch/multipath.
Much larger warhead than the aster (70kg vs 15kg) means you cant multipath it, also way better top speed and acceleration meaning missile will get to you before you can react properly
I just found out that the KH-38MT missile got a major buff? Is that true?
you’re not outpulling a M4.6 missile even with 25G overload
I think it is
@simsimkek @ExcaliburSniper its obviously not doa but i dont think it will be the undisputed top dog of SPAAs. Flying low and fast should work better against it than against the IRIS T
It’s pointles to try convincing @ExcaliburSniper of anything… he only listen “the voices in his head”…
something something pot calling the kettle black something
The datamines wrote that it will have an increased launch range, but what this means is unclear, perhaps now it can be launched not from 14 km, but from 20
It’s true if you think that getting more than 40km of range in the current state of the game is a major buff.
it doesnt lead the target properly, same issue with the AH-1Z but it is more visible there
unlike some other helis that get perfect lead for their guns
It looks like the missile 9M317M is semi-active
That would go a long way in defending against it, even if they make it immune to multipathing thanks to sekrit technology like the ldircm.
Still means high altitude flight is only allowed for russian jets, even more than before
b-b-b-but 70km max range isn’t more useful than 30km
it means the missile has a lot more energy at the same range jfc crutch users really don’t know anything about anything
so when are we going tp talk about the 100km range SAM?
please show me a single anti radiation missile that is in game
you know that it wont be the best SAM?
so yeah you are the one who is coping rn
Aster 30
Range: up to 100km
Speed: up to 1500m/s
G overload: up to 50G (edited)
Pantsir has been countered by my Harrier GR7 from its release through mid 2024.
Pantsir has been countered by my F-16C, Mirage 2000D, and so froth from release to present.
There was never a point where Pantsir was good against top CAS.
Keep calling NATO mains nasty names, all you do is prove them correct.
@Demokrat4
The “buff” is to Kh-38ML mostly because Kh-38MT is 30km launch range limited due to the game limit of 30km, and Kh-38MT’s seeker range is 14km so you’re at most launching Kh-38MTs at 21km irrelevant of launch ranges higher than that.
has it been confirmed to be aster 30 and not 15? or are you just making things up as usual
the SAMP/T can only use the Aster 30
like even a simple google search would have given you that information
gotta love ppl who have no clue what they are talking about and are then accusing others
Seething will continue untill morale improves
i see you didn’t answer the question (or more likely - you can’t read)
the question was : has it been confirmed to be aster 30 and not 15?
it’s more likely that the devs will lie about western equipment than allow france and italy to have best-in-class anything
we will see tomorrow
Mig-29 is western equipment? Since when?
You do get that a number of NATO airforces still use Warsaw pact vintage Airframes, or have accrued FME airframes over time (When is it being added to the US tree, right?).
As for actual in game examples though you have the East German MiG-29(9-12A) and subsequent MiG-29G in the German air tree, and assorted Copy paste jobs in others like the Hungarian MiG-29 (9-12B) and MiG-29 Sniper.
