No real objections. There’s a reason top Apaches and Ka-52 are 12.0 and now lower.
It’s arguable that if F&F missiles are ever “buffed” that they can go up to 12.3+.
You can still see the missile if you see an F-15E or F-16 it is likely launched AGM-65.
AGM-65 are also completely defeated by smoke as the warhead is smaller and splash damage is lower so even if the IOG causes the missile to impact near you in the smoke it wont kill you.
KH-38 is bigger, faster and meaner and if it impacts near your tank it will either kill you or destroy every module and leave you with a 45 second time repair.
Platform - Su30: 3km altitude, going around 970km/h
Target: 20km
Time it takes to impact: 40s
agm-65d
Platform - F-15E: 3km altitude, going around 1200km/h
Target: 19.8km
Time it takes to impact: NA, the maverick does not reach the target, falls out of sky
Platform - F-15E: 7km altitude, going around mach 1.39
Target: 19.6km
Time it takes to impact: 58s
People really downplay the speed of the Kh-38 and the effects it has on the battlefield
Should’ve clarified, I’m saying that the Ka-52 is a much better helicopter than the Apache for GRB. Either the Ka52 gets moved up in br (maybe not the same br as FnF helis) or the Apache gets lowered in BR.
Having them at the same BR is just unfair.
Ground Assault is a different story. I would choose the apache over the ka52
AGM-65s would be much better if gaijin didn’t gimp their speed for what ever reason. Its been bug reported AGM-65 Maverick likely incorrect flight performance // Gaijin.net // Issues but never implemented and probably will never be cause gaijin just ignores most bug reports. I feel bad for people who put in a lot of time for bug reports for 90% of them to get ignored for years.
ADATS should have TWS like Pantsir it was designed to track threats while locking a target.
It can still only guide one missile but it would allow ADATS greater situational awareness.
Isn’t that one of the main reasons we dont have Heli PVP anymore? It was before I started getting heavily into helis but in terms of heli v heli PVP in GRB or any mode with PVP the US heli’s dont have much to use against the KA-50/52 series helis. Not to say we cant get a few here and there but overall they will win the fight at least 8/10 times. We can use our hellfires but unfortunately that wont work if you have vikhrs coming your way just from the speed and flight difference between the two. Not to even mention getting up close in a gun fight with it if you managed because they have arguably one if not best cannons for helis in this game. Stupid accurate and deadly compared to the m230E or m197 on the US side. One of the reasons I laugh when I see people claiming the US helis are better in GRB or that they are on par with each other. That’s a negative and the only mode I’ve found the US helis to be better is heli PVE but that is about it. The apache shits on KA-50/52 in there it’s not even funny or fair if I’m honest.
Exactly Gaijin wont model the top attack or the direct attack mode for Hellfires which means the small explosive mass will not destroy tanks and for helis the missile is so slow compared to the Vikhrs then we have Stinger vs IGLA.
@luque13
Lets not forget the fact that Ka-50 was like this since release which is A LOT of time (years).
now they added modules and i have no idea how it behaves now.
wait for em to come again and say “ohh it was a bug” yeah, a bug which was like this for YEARS and conveniently only for russian heli lol (people complained a lot about the damage model, it wasnt a secret or a rare bug they didnt knew about)
They have to fact-check as well as determine severity of the issue compared to other issues.
13km won’t change ADATS being useless, but the explosive filler will change damage to helicopters.
@Mizzar1529
Ka-50s were still dying to pilot snipes left and right.
Stats were showing Ka-50s dying, much like how stats showed F-16Cs dying to Pantsir despite F-16C being unkillable when used corrected.
That’s just not true. Having a greater range to track targets means you can fire ahead in anticipation so when the target reaches the 10km range, the missile will probably be half-way there.
It’s not going to make the ADATS good but it’s still an improvement nevertheless
Edit: not sure why every time I reply, it doesn’t actually reply
