Russian Bias in 2024?

Are you suggesting that USSR had better tech?

during early cold war yes, they are in tanks case when T-64 came out west still use Leopard 1 US still use with M60 (no Leopard 2 and Abrams during that time)

Fair enough. Early cold war would be more close. Overtime, US would get a lot better than USSR/Russia.

It only starts to get “close” in the late '70s
And that’s still pitching M60s with M735 against T-64Bs with 3BM22

edit: my bad

T-80Bs with 3BM22

How could that be Russian bias? Gaijin is basically saying that brand new Russian stuff is on par with old NATO stuff.

Soviet APHE shells are the best shells in the game because they literally ignore sloped armor.

Firstly, not everyone knows which stuff in the game is new and which isn’t. Secondly, even old NATO stuff is intentionally modeled incorrectly by Gaijin, based on ‘balance’ considerations, which have never existed in this game and still don’t.

Well except for a recent conflict

The capability gap only happens when you hit the 90s and Russia did the funni and lost a decade to paying for communist sins, continuing to slide thereafter.

Hell with more modernshit you have China picking up the slack with their land and heli platforms reaching or exceeding parity and their air platforms only being held back by lack of aesa until ~2010

Tbh, america will suck on the ground even with their newest Gucci shit, because america hasn’t had to fight a serious land war in 30 years; innovation stalled because there hasn’t been a need.

Man you must have such a sad life complaining everyday in here about Russia and it’s players.
In case you didn’t know, this is a game, which should be balanced.

Go to Ukraine, there you can use your glorious Nafo equipment, im sure they are happy to have you.

PFFFFFFTTTTT.

Lol. Lmfao even.

America hasn’t slacked in the military hardware innovation department. What a nonsense statement to make.

PzGr wants to have a word with you. It is the best APHE shell as it can and will one-hit kill through overpressure.

Feel free to show me land warfare advancements America has made in the last 20 years that outstrip things like the; T-90M, 2A7/8, K2, etc; the metric fuckload of IFVs that outstrip the Bradley; the Shorad and M-shorad programs that outstrip, um, slapping stingers onto technicals? (for real tho, this is just sad at this point. the sgt stout with NGSRI needs to be a thing like a decade ago); the lack of FCS upgrades for all systems to the point that the BVM has a better FCS than the fucking SEPv2.

2 decades of dunking on the middle east has meant that important land warfare upgrades and programs have been axed because what’s there is already good enough (no sense in funding an M-SHORAD program if you’re fighting a foe that only has an airforce because you left yours behind). Now America finds itself playing catch up to other nations.

Air and navy game is a different story, but on the ground, I’m actually salty about how stagnant things have gotten.

Ah, yes. Just because the US is better at OPSEC it means nothing has actually happened.

Just because chassis haven’t changed for many vehicles doesn’t mean their internals haven’t changed. Additionally, as we have seen in a certain theater - Many munitions lent have been slapping the absolute dogwater out of the hardware of what it’s been thrown at. As for the vehicles - Despite the Abrams being stripped down, both it and the Brads have been slapping what they’ve been fighting when used properly. Which proves quite well that a supposed " competitor " doesn’t actually have the ability to compete.

As for the rest of actual NATO like Germany, Japan, etc - We’ll see. If anything I have more confidence in Japan compared to anyone else.

But aight, dude. You go ahead and think that the US is slacking.

Just to be pedantic; Japan is not in NATO.

NATO is a useless organization anyways, but I digress since that’s irrelevant to the topic.

Oh I know who you’re voting for.

My only comment on this will be that M735 and the T-80B entered service in the same year.

Hey man, I can show you the evidence of other nations pantsing the Americans, but you can’t show me the evidence that the Americans have equal footing. I’m sure the US is keeping it’s newest UFO laser tank very hush hush, even though the military buys mostly COTS shit that you can find on everyone in the MIC’s website.

Also, next to nothing of the internals of the SEPs are classified, you can literally find the upgrade documents online in a free-to-share state. In fact, I literally pre-empted this attempt at an argument by bringing up the lacking FCS in the SEPv1 and v2. C’mon dude, open up a copy of Jane’s or something.
