I see the Marders somewhat unbalanced by several factors. For example, I would put the Marder A1 at Br 8.0, but with the APCR with its realistic penetration and damage and with the Milan missile working correctly. Then the Marder A3 at Br 8.7 with the APDS with realistic penetration and damage and adding the Milan 2 that it historically used.
PD:But back to the subject. If the Soviet automatic loaders really work in a realistic way, there is not much to debate. What remains to be seen is what things about the automatic loaders are unrealistic, such as absorbing damage, or varying the reload time depending on the bullet model that is closest to the loading arm of the carousel.

Using the 1A3 right now, i left this lineup for the longest time as i believed it was unbalanced at their BRs, now im just heading back down to the 8.0 area, the marder 1A3s only issue ive had, not even spaded yet, is teh quantity of missiles.

the A10 still functions intop tier, i use it quite effectively with the AGM65s, the only issue is cap really.
Ka50 and KA52 are no longer effective helis at top tier, hence why you see the majority of them get absolutely gunned down.
caveat, the only time KA50/52 is oppressive at top tier now is if a team does not spawn cap, a heli of their own or an SPAA.
Unlike say the Tiger which can and does absolutely rip lobbies apart, or the rooivalk.
The ka52s age has passed, while it was oppressive it no longer is at all.
skills issue tbh targeted by SAM? you wait for opportunity to strike when SPAA distract by third party using RWR and MAW and flying low and you pick the SPAA you’re not gonna come on top 1VS1 against SPAA so you need to use another factor
sht i did it in Apache before and with new mini map system it even easier.
I use both, and what I found strange about them was that the APCR clearly did not work as it should and that the Milan missile was quite mediocre, in fact it is easier for me to hit moving targets with MACLOS missiles than with the Milan. Later I saw that both the APCR and the APDS of the 20mm gun lacked around 10 to 15mm of penetration, and the APCR lost too much penetration at distance. On the other hand, the fact that the Marder A3 has a thermal sight gives me to understand that it is more or less from the same period as the Leopard 1A5.
yeah dont see them often anymore but in the first spawn when most players spawn mbts or light vics they can cause a bit of damage if rocket rushing
I dont use helicopters mate, I genuinely do not do well with them.
However that does not change the fact I do not see Ka50s absolute peppering lobbies like 4 years ago.

Then, it must also be taken into account that Soviet autoloaders were designed at a time when Soviet construction doctrine made some sense, making tanks low so that they would be harder to hit, but with the arrival of coincidence rangefinders and especially lasers, having a low tank was no longer such an important factor.
