With it being 9.0 without stellar armour or any sub calibre rounds, I don’t think it is OP right now.

Wait until you actually play Russian 13.0. The next tank you want to use after your t80bvm dies is non-existent. There is nothing that matches top tier requirements of mobility and firepower other than the bvm. T80ue1 is at best a backup, and t90m, t72b3a are bullet magnets that don’t even take many.
T-90M, T-72s, BMPT, … you can also use IFVs or light tanks, it’s not mandatory for you to only use MBTs to fight… I typically only use 1 MBT in my lineups.
Oh, talking about protection, all T-series tanks can be one-shot in the lfp, and have vulnerable turret top armor. 2 consecutive shots with the hstv, rdf/lt or japanese 4s reload tanks = death of gunner and commander.
NATO MBTs are vulnerable everywhere.
In the case of light tanks - still non-existent. Just actually try bmd4m. 4 atgms and 30mm apds does nothing against top tier mats. Try killing a challenger oes with 30mm apds even from the sides.
Try killing a top tier MBT with spikes hitting an ERA/back corner of the tank and a 30mm bushmaster, good luck

2s38 - no frontal penetration against top tier leopard 2 or challenger 2. Simply try flanking with it’s ass slow mobility and you’ll know it’s impossible.
It’s 10.7 man, of course it won’t perform well at 13.0. But at its BR, it’s a beast. It actually pens MBTs quite well (way better than its NATO IFV counterparts).

- LFP : half the time hidden by urban debris on the ground. The other half, the player moves in zigzags/rush you in a corner in a second, so you literally can’t hit it ;
- Driver’s hatch/breech : 4 bushes on it, conveniently emphasized by that blur motion graphical bug melting the bushes and the armor altogether (so you literally can’t see anything towards where you’re aiming, it’s all blurry and weird)
On the other hand, NATO MBTs : point, shot, dead

Ironic since you have about the skill level of a bot. So that explains why you are struggling so much to play this game.
The other bit of irony here is that I have only played like 1 ground battle as Russia in the last month (IS-7). Most of my groud battles were on the NATO side.

you can definetly kill it with 105 HEATFS and even APDS from 8.0. It wont be easy as it shouldnt be tho, we`re talking about a heavy tank in uptier lol.
literally positioned in center mass. Shoot under the gun get free kill. And especially missing the point of the tanks moving, so there are plenty sideshots you can do with huge angles aiming under the first wheel.

The Black Night has a high BR because it has the best APS in the game, which can intercept APFSDS
The BMPT is vulnerable to 30mm fire head-on because hits to the exposed ammo feeds and autoloader put it out of action. Curiously, Western IFVs don’t have similar weak spots modeled. It’s a clear example of selective realism being used to the disadvantage of Russian vehicles

- Like I said, the t72 and t90 simply fail to meet top tier requirements with their reverse speed and reload time. I’d rather use my t80u instead of these. BMPT is for flanking, not for head-on engagements with mbts. With how many p2w Russian teammates you can get, flanking maneuvers can easily turn into a 1 vs multiple situation for the BMPT, which can now be effectively disabled with HE shells or autocannons.
- NATO tanks are not vulnerable “everywhere”, especially at top tier. Top tier leopard 2 has excellent turret protection (single use perhaps, but still enough to stop a round to the turret top). Like I said, top tier T-series are prone to rounds hitting the crew’s head. I could kill a t80bvm in cover in 2 seconds with my rdf/lt. You said T-series tanks can hide their lfp behind terrain - so can you! Don’t forget your excellent depression angle and turret protection!
- The 2s25m has the worst gun handling across its BR. No other light tanks has a vertical traverse speed of 3 degrees per second. It only shines with its 3bm60 round, well, which doesn’t make much difference from the 3bm42, which is well enough for dealing with leopard a4 or the Abrams (basically all variants). However, the 2s25m is the only high tier LT with a cannon in the Russian tech tree, so you’ll have to live with it in top tier. AFAIK the cv90120t and m10 booker have penetration and gun handling well enough for top tier battles.
