Been playing 20 13.0 GRB games in a row against Russia, once again :
- 16 games played against Russia, 14 lost ;
- 4 games played alongwith Russia, 3 won.
=> 17 games out of 20 won by Russia, 85% winrate.
NATO forces have to constantly deal with :
=> Broken Spike/MMP missiles doing nothing most of the time ;
=> Nerfed-to-the-ground NATO MBT armors (you sneeze anywhere on Abrams/Chally/Leclercs/Arietes/Merkavas/Types and they evaporate) ;
=> Nerfed-to-the-ground NATO MBT shells (Leos, Leclercs not having the powerfull ones they’re supposed to have) ;
=> Broken modeling of T-series MBTs (ERAs eating Darts/ATGMs/Bombs, autoloader eating darts instead of exploading, trunnions eating darts, fuel tanks sending darts into Oblivion, …) ;
=> BMPTs (no need for further explanations) ;
=> Pantsir-S1 and its 12 ready-to-fire rounds + multi targeting system making it the best 12.0 SACLOS SPAA by far ;
=> LMUR + SU-30s spam ;
=> NATO IFVs being objectively worse than their russian counterparts :
- Fire rate : russian IFVs have way faster fire rate than their NATO counterparts, especially the ones with bushmaster cannon and equivalent ;
- Accuracy : russian IFVs have laser accuracy cannons compared to the lack of accuracy of NATO IFV cannons ;
- Dual cannon : some russian IFVs have 2 cannons available (autocannon + main cannon shooting ATGMs/shells) ;
- Mobility : often, NATO IFVs lack moblity (Bradleys, wheeled IFVs on terrain, …) ;
- IRST : sweedish IFVs lack their IRST ability for some reason, making their Proxy fuze useless.
=> Several T-series MBTs have access to HE + Proxy fuze + ATGM rounds (useful in some cases), while most of NATO MBTs have none ;
=> Several T-series MBTs have acces to IRST (useful against low flying aircrafts / drones if paired with Proxy fuze rounds), while most of NATO MBTs have none ;
=> IRIS-T does not have ARH guidance missiles compared to other 12.7 SPAAs ;
=> Tiger helicopters have nothing to do at 12.7 BR : no IRCM, only 8 FnF missiles, FnF missiles max launch range = 7/8 km VS 15km for LMURs, climb slower, EC-665 Tiger HAC doesn’t even have a cannon to fight jets/helis/incoming missiles… ;
=> AH + Tiger IR missiles “top-down” approach modeling is broken, often need 2-4 missiles to destroy 1 MBT/SPAA/BMPT (vs LMURs top-down approach, which is perfect) ;
=> NATO MBT autoloaders being nerfed, it is now risky to carry HEAT rounds ;
=> Most of NATO SPAAs do not have an autocannon, making the elimination of low flying aircrafts impossible ;
=> Most of russian vehicles are under-BRed : T-72B3 “Arena” being at 11.0 while having APS + top tier dart (why ?), BMPT being at BR 11 as well as PUMA VJTF, KF41, Namers, … ;
=> BM-Oplot being a T-serie MBT but basically way worse, for some reason.
I’m sure there are more things to add up to the list, those being the ones which are just the simplest to consider imo.
I’m not sure if it is done on purpose to punish NATO players or something, but it is clear to me these are all the reasons why NATO players struggle so much at +12.0 GRB against Russia, and particularly why Russia literally steamrolls everything at 13.0 GRB.
Something needs to be done about this issue. Quite frankly, since a little while, if you do not play Russia, top tier GRB is not fun anymore. I feel like WT is becoming bit by bit a “Play Russia to win” game more than anything else…
