Explain to me why I didn’t roll this plane with a 21.6% chance in 40 rolls.
yeah . … I am thoroughly convinced that the roll rate of Fw 190’s & Sabres are totally exaggerated. At the same time any IL-2 has a better roll rate than any Zero . . completely believable . . . lol. Unless you use a stick, actually know something about flying(I don’t and never have I claimed I do . . .lol) there is no real way to do a roll by “feel” . . . it’s either all or nothing. Granted, I play Air AB, mouse controls and there is that instructor thing you can only limit so much(it’s still gonna try to fly your plane a good deal of the time), the other control modes may be more “realistic”. But honestly, with the way most flight models are modelled, not sure it makes that much difference . . .
That being said . . . . I might agree with your post’s title . . .
its probably just a bug, its probably supposed to say 2.16% or something, there’s been a lot of text related issues lately
Me here thinking yall talking about roll rates on aircraft, as in flight performance
Fixed the title
thats what I thought it was about too lol
Probably yeah, though I find it interesting that the incorrect probabilities still sum to 100%… no idea what spaghetti code they’ve got running there
Ok . . . I will try to be serious and answer this title . . . lol.
The math/odds do not change depending on the results of a previous venture.
They will remain the same odds for every time you try it.
Let’s use dice as an example, a 6 sided die is numbered 1 - 6, they use two dies(dice) to play craps, a very common gambling game.
There are 36 combinations possible with 2, 6 sided dice.
7 has the most combinations so it is rolled most often and has lowest odds.
2(snake eyes) & 12(boxcars) only have 1 combination
so the odds for rolling either of those is 36 to 1.
This doesn’t mean every 36 times you roll a pair of dice you will see a 2 and/or a 12. It simply means the odds of getting either of those numbers is . .
36 to 1 every time you roll the dice.
The dice have no memory, they do not know(or care) what was rolled last time.
Or the previous 10 - 100 times.
Your trophy tries are going to work pretty much the same way, the odds will remain the same each attempt you make.
That’s why you don’t have a guarantee with these things. Some stuff Gaijin does they do make a guarantee, I am not sure that these trophies fall into that category tho.
hope that helps some
p.s. I did spend 2 years dealing craps and other games in Las Vegas, so I have seen how all this works, not just blowing smoke. I learned about many games and types of gambling(not horse racing tho . . . too much work)
@ileaveuptiers . . sorry I tagged the wrong guy
And yeah, it is possible the numbers shown are incorrect . . . stuff happens
And yeah, it does have a guarantee on this one, so . . . might wanna contact Support or something
I totally get how dice works and the compound success rate of rolling those, but we’re just talking about percentages. That’s a pretty crazy number. I guess it’s just a typo or something. I put in a support ticket
For what it’s worth, given it’s likely a troll due to not being related to the topic…
Give your rudder a try.
Dunno if it works with mouse aim/instructor as well as in SB, but combining a rudder kick with max stick can get you crazy roll rates at high risk of putting yourself into a skid and departing flight (thus needing timing for releasing the rudder and doing so gently). I’ve measured some 180 degrees per second doing it in the yak-9k (while without any rudder only 120 deg/s).
Another thing for roll rates is loaded vs unloaded. Unloaded rolls should be faster. Loaded simply means neither pitching up or down.
The rudder roll is a pretty handy concept to know for survival as well. If your ailerons die, you can use rudder to roll your plane and recover and land safely.
If you find the expected cost to acquire a vehicel is lower that its original price, then your roll rates are fake version. It’s about business rationality.
Anyway, this is actually a very serious mistake(mislabelled roll rates), which may cause some legal issues like being accused of false publicity. It need fix with priority.
A trophy crate is not a IL2 maybe create your own topic.
He was just trolling no need to get butthurt.
Anyways yeah no way Gaijin is just giving away a A2d-1 just like that probably just a mistake.
Yeah prob I for the A2D four the victory day sale and i dont know if i should have done the creates for extra stuff.
Yeah those are a waste i recommend only crates you should every buy, are sl crates.
If i only have 1,040,158 Sl should i get them?
No offense your too broke you need at least 10 million ,and depending how far you are into a TT you need that money for upgrades, tanks and expert crews.
I ty for telling me I was about to spend 600 on crates and Im close to getting M60TTS so that wouldve been dumb of me.
