In January 1937, the Yugoslav Navy sought to replace the Ikarus IO, a biplane flying boat used for coastal reconnaissance. The aircraft manufacturer Rogožarski presented the SIM-XIV-H, a twin-engine monoplane equipped with floats.
In 1940, a bomber version called the SIM-XIVB-H was introduced. It featured upgraded Argus As-10E engines, a bombing sight, and modifications to the forward armament. The turret above the nose was removed, and the forward gun was relocated inside the cockpit for the bombardier to operate. This variant could carry a payload of one 100 kg bomb, two 50 kg anti-submarine bombs, or twelve 12 kg fragmentation bombs. Plans were also made to equip the aircraft with Argus As-410 engines, but these upgrades were halted due to the German invasion of Yugoslavia in 1941.
During the invasion, the aircraft were deployed for reconnaissance missions. After the conflict, Italy captured one SIM-XIV-H and seven SIM-XIVB-H planes. While one was sent for testing, the rest were transferred to the Aeronautical School in Orbetello and used for pilot training until 1942. Additionally, two aircraft managed to escape to Egypt, where they joined the RAF and conducted missions over the Adriatic. However, one was lost in action, and the other was eventually scrapped due to a shortage of spare parts.

In WarThunder the plane would be in my opinion a nice premium for rank one, at br 1.7 but other opinions are more than welcome.
It would go very well along side all the italian floatplanes that are stil waiting to be added.
