It uses the Bullpup pylon, think the F-5 only carried under the fuselage and not under the wings
What rwr is that (looking at the cockpit picture) looks like it is somewhat modern. And also will it get ballistics computer? The hud looks quite modern.
How is the missile aimed to begin with ? From the picture you posted of the new cockpit the pilot has no MFD in the front to aim the missile . The only possibility i see is the picture being that of a dual seater F-5B so rear nagivator has the required instruments , but in this case it means that the model in game should not be able to fire the missile since its a single seater .

I sure hope it could carry more than one Penguin but one would also be fine.

According to wikipedia, the Penguin missiles use the same rails as the Bullpups. Considering the earliest F-5A gets access to four Bullpups, it would only make sense that the F-5A(G) can carry as many Penguin missiles, especially at rank 7.

In general, as part of the game it shouldnt have a Penguin, because there is no monitor in the cockpit to display images from the seeker.
The F-104G didn’t have a monitor either, but the Penguin was still tested on it (it was the very first aircraft to fire a Penguin missile from the air). It was only during testing, but if they can fire the Penguins from a damn starfighter, i bet they can easily make it work with the F-5A as well.

Cuz penguin works smth like: aircraft goes into zone, fire penguin, fly out of zone and penguin search target by himself.
Okay, then what’s your point? Why shouldn’t it have Penguins?
We should not have a seeker camera like now on mavs and other AGMs and also should not be able to lock onto a target on a pylon.
