Riocheting of light tanks armour

I am seriously tiredf from riochetting of light tanks armour (for example stock aphe shell from su122-54 going towards cheeck of t92 light tank)
Doesnt happen there, cheeck of tiger 2 p with t44100’s better shell (yes i did aim better)
When will this be fixed for once?

Then you need to aim better. Im not trying to be mean.

Quite literally you need to aim better

I am aiming better, its not a “skill problem” or something…

Notice how I said “light tanks?” Espesially the t92

they are not hard to kill dude

Well of course sir, they aren’t

That’s because the stock shell has AWFUL angles of ricochet, it doesn’t matter if its light, medium, heavy or a thin baking tray, at those angles the shell bounces off. This is the case for many of the APHE (and similar) shells around that BR. It’s not really until the first APFSDS where you start seeing better angles.

Why does it have awful angles? Can it be fixed?

“fixed” ? that’s how the shell works. Look at the statcard and you can see at what angles the shell bounces.

If you have any sources to prove that it worked differently then you are free to make a report on it :)

Ah, alright

It just seems really wierd to me…

Why?
Everything has an angle at which it bounces depending on its speed, shape, weight, etc. A tank shell will bounce of a wooden plank at 0 degrees if you just throw it with your hands. In contrast a wooden log traveling at mach 10 might penetrate a few meters of concrete at an extreme angle. Its just physics.

There has been extensive testing of shells vs armor and much of the data from like ww2 and the cold war is publicly available. I don’t have it at hand currently but it shouldn’t be that hard to find if you know where to look.

Oh never mind, I’ve shoot at a trap place…
Theres spot on T92 where if shot, it riochets…
