Richelieu and roma got the worst accuracy

Why Richelieu and Roma got the WORST accuracy in the game compared to all the newest BB in the game
Its not like Richelieu and roma are weak with her ammo racks.
You cannot deal against every other ships !
Please make Richelieu and roma accurate.

I made some tests, and here the spread at 15km.
How can gaijin think that could be great to nerf some nation ?

I feel for Roma, considering it’s the slowest reloading gun in game.

Richelieus guns had lots of shell dispersion due to guns being so close to eachother which was fixed by firing one at a time post war she was refitted with US aiming systems
she still suffered from dispersion at long range until her post war refit
so for 1944 refit this is accurate

Because minor nations with proven battlefield competence are obviously not as good as prototypes from the Big Three (America, Germany, and USSR)

Sovetsjy soyuz suffer for huge gun dispersion, but in game, its a sniper.
then, explain me why when you fire barrel by barrel, its still awful ?

russian bias in a russian game i dont like soyuz either im just explaining why its like this and idk why roma has lots of dispersion

Yamato probably not the best choice to compare with - it was known for good accuracy, tight dispersion.

IOWA and bismarck are pretty accurate to yamato is pretty good but hampered by only having sterio scopic and no radar like bismarck and iowa

I mean there’s a difference in being able to hit the enemy and discussions about shell groupings (dispersion), which is what this topic is about. Sounds like OP has an axe to grind with the Sovetsjy soyuz, so he should have included that as the example.

everyone has a axe to grind with soyuz as its OP and ahistorical

yamato and rome both only use sterio scopic range finders as there primary gunnery system and they have no surface radar and japan was known for having best sterio scopic range finders richeilu also uses similar systems

No, not really, Soyuz in the actual state is a WTF ship. She is like Kronsh when it came to the game. Impossible to kill, impossible to ammo rack, killing everyone at every distance.
I’m not the only one to say that she is OP.
Gaijin do not care about historical.
Dunkerque have pretty good accuracy, and Richelieu should have same accuracy.
Roma and Richelieu are the last BB from tech trees, and really, its totally useless and unfair to play them.
In the actual state, its really better to do not play them at all.
As like HMS Tiger and Hawkins that have 0.50 horizontal accuracy.

This is a game, and gajin know it by making random stats at every ships.

Better to play loto than using those ships.

I’m not in-game at the moment, but Yamato-class ships were refitted with Type 22 radars that primarily were for search, but were also used for fire control in conjunction with the rangefinders.

Roma’s accuracy is because per Italian gunnery trials it was shown her guns couldnt hit anything… at over 30km away… Italy did it’s accuracy trials different to everyone else so there is a misconception that because her guns were so high velocity they cant hit the broad side of an oil tanker point blank. In reality the dispersion should probably be the tightest of any BB sub 20km because she is essentially firing a 15" rifled railgun as she was designed more for the CQC Brawl that the mediterrenean is.

Richi as sad prior is accurate in her current state. After she was fitted with US Firecontrol equipment she became a much deadlier threat. As for Soyuz her gun was at Leningrad so Gaijin is likely referencing that along with proposed designs. I highly doubt that her design would actually work given how terrible the ganguts were and how much inexperience soviet shipbuilding had, but the one thing they do have in their favor is artillery. So the guns might actually be the most accurate part of the ship.

Would all you fellow Naval enjoyers be able to view my Yamato bug report follow up with the asset viewer. If you would like to see the Yamato in a better state please take a look and read the report and look at the screenshots.

Really heard Japan didn’t have any neat

Gun accuracy of battleships are currently trying to follow historical accuracy, thus will be good sound for Iowa and Bismarck, who were to known have best accuracy along with British 15’’ both on land-based and ship-based, and not for Richelieu and Roma.

For Richelieu, absence of delay fire per guns made problem for her gun during war-time, and for Roma, terrible quality control of propellant and shell makes problem(when companies were allowed to choose best-quality shell and propellant during first test, dispersion was quite fine)

For Soyuz, land-based trial shows that dispersion between 14 km to 21 km got seriously worsened compared to other nation’s guns, but inside 14, test result proved fine dispersion, although propellant were something that reused from old 14’'s. So in most of combat range ingame, her fine accuracy will be not something big of a bias.
