You didn’t even fire, why should you get a kill? For free effortless RP play arcade or realistic^^
The F-15 was intentionally J-ing out while dumping flares before he could fire his IR missiles, thus denying the kill. Cases like this are examples where crash/J rewards benefit best.

He could have scored that kill if enemy didnt crash into ground and kept fighting. That is the point.

I don’t think you understand the full scope of the issue: This isn’t about rewards, it’s about making it unattractive for players to J-out and deny the other player a kill.
In sim its sadly common to have players J-out as soon as they see they’re engaged, or just before a missile hits. I’ve had matches where the same player again and again ejected before I could get him, and he even boasted about it. With the Maneuver Kill feature activated also in Sim, I’d still get the kill, and this would spoil the whole trolling fun for him, and could really lower the attractiveness and thus frequency of such unsportmanship player behaviour.
Also, in Sim prolonged dogfights between two opponents are quite common (I’d guess more common than in the more “furball” style arcade and realistic modes), and in those fights winning over your opponent by forcing him to maneuver into the ground while not doing the same should be considered a win - but in Sim this was not implemented…
