Are they going to fix the maneuver kills from people hitting AoA and dying? I’ve been in scenarios where they just pretty press that button spam everything and get me but when they crash it gives the credit to someone else. Hello? I’m the reason they died or are you guys finally going to remove AoA death button nonsense?

Nah, there is no sense of achievement for some randomer crashing in your general vicinity… 9/10 you get credited for “killing” someone without actually having done anything.
The only one I’ve had on purpose was still dumb luck, MiG-15 followed me into a high speed dive and he couldn’t pull out in time. The rest I didn’t even know they were there.
The first maneuver kill I got was a Su-30SM2 who hit a tree trying to avoid my Gripen gunning him down. So no, it’s an excellent change. Previously I would have gotten NOTHING for that.

Not my experience. Vast majority of my maneuver kills were actually planned, and putting my body on the line, treading the line between life and death while at a disadvantage, is pretty fun.
Give it a shot yourself, offer a lead to an enemy that would result in their crash, while skirting just outside of their aim and not making the setup obvious. It’s like a reversal where your gun is earth. And no, good players are not immune to propaganda.
Love getting free air kills in ground vehicles for Yak-9s turning into meteors and flying into the ground

One of the greatest game mechanic additions by far.
It really helps out with the stock grind for aircraft.
Especially if you are in a subsonic jet and the enemy is in a supersonic jet that misjudges their compression in a dive for you.

Its a nice change, but i dont think it should give tanks kills, and it should only have the 3km range on missiles and on a df range on plane being near like 1km max

I rarely play these days but it has just happened again, someone tried to grief me because I was about to shoot him, close enough to pick up a kill from his deliberate crash. It isn’t rewarding, it isn’t fun…
One of the best changes so far. I hated so much when ppl just crash when they dont wanna fight when disadvantaged. While I go bravely aggainst overwhelming odds. It also a bit supports pilots that just go into big crowds of planes and some of the dumbasses crash while trying to shoot you down.
Tho in ground battles it does favor tanks a bit too much. As they cant really chase the plane, and some tanks dont even have any AA armament and they get kill if plane crash near them. I dont mind tanks getting kill of undamaged plane but id at least add that planes do damage if they crash into tanks. As for now it only does damage without pilot I belive.

Ran out of energy and stalled at low altitude… he got the kill, I still got the crew lock.
I still don’t agree with the maneuver kills being credited, whilst this guy did earn it the majority do not, but to still punish with a crew lock is simply a bad joke.
Snail then had the cheek to ask if I wanted to renew premium when I got back to the hangar… F no!
Its even worse in arcade mode. This is the crazierst addition in the history of MMOs. You get rewards and formal killcounts for absolutely nothing, Wounder how this will impact Gajin BR bump/decrease statistics.
Also this thread is quite hilarious. I’m no expert for SIM mode, but its funny how players constantly posting vids here, where they don’t even fire a single shot, but totally think they somehow “deserved” the kill. Cause for some reason a plane crashed into the ground.

In Sim, people stall, spin out, or otherwise lose control all the time and crash mid fight.
So yes, I did deserve that kill when the only reason he crashed right below me was that I was either shooting him, or about to shoot him.
They just need to remove this nonsense. If you can’t make the kill you can’t make the kill. Unless they J out you shouldn’t be rewarded period.
You can still crash give someone a kill and be penalized in hanger? Oh please these people will have 3-4 jets they’ll just queue up in the next one what a joke.
