It’s basically bypassing game mechanics to your advantage. I was playing today against a Pantsir SM that J’ed to respawn with spawn protect, aka invincibility so he could free kill me.
If you don’t want to die to enemy fire don’t play PvP I guess. I don’t see it as defensible behavior even if you hate CAS.
I mean thats obvious, yeah. And cas is just a part of the game, if people cant handle that, or cant handle dying in a game where all you do all the time, nonstop, is shooting at each other then its just not their game. If that frustrates certain people so much that they start going ham in chat and show all kinds of disgusting behaviour then maybe its better for them not to be playing a game where youre inevitably dying all the time. But, ofc, everyone gets a bit mad at the game from time to time…
All im saying is that its kinda funny that theres spaa that is literally incapable to do the job its designed for in the game in its current state. in like 90 % of cases at least. So i would sort of understand that people get frustrated in certain vehicles so much that they just give up on it. Pantsir-SM-SV obviously aint such a vehicle. And i meant it more in a way of “i can understand the frustration behind that” not that i’d approve doing it. If the reasoning is purely competitive and doing it because it gives you an edge, repeatedly, then thats ofc a completely different ballpark than doing it once or twice when youre frustrated.
I still think that Gaijin need to implement something like this. Spawn camping is horrendous, and nothing ever seems to fix it. Players rush past the objectives to score enemy destructions in their spawns, rather than capping them, and hopefully this would add a bit more incentive to not just pass the objectives, and to actually defend them. It wouldn’t fix the spawn camping issue, but it would at least give players a reason not to.
