Reward for destroying AI ground vehicles in ARB is too low

With the addition of more interesting ground AI targets to destroy in the new update I decided to kill some while grinding out the some of the new planes, well to my surprise (not really) I saw I was getting very little for doing so. so my question to gaijin is A) why bother adding new ground targets if no one will bother destroying them because the reward for doing so is so low and B) when will the grind be bad enough for gaijin to be satisfied at our collective misery?

I’m ok with how it currently is, I think the tickets are too low.

By the time you reach those objectives and the time you have before a furball comes to kill you, the rewards are not that great, the game force you to play with fighters… Specially at 10.0 and higher.
Maybe the issue is not the reward you get for each ground vehicle destroyed but the time you get to destroy as many you can before stop existing.

Yep. This is a significant part of why Air RB is increasingly flavorless.

The other major component of this is that unless you’re a totally helpless stock plane, why even bother going for them when the fastest way to victory is always air team deathmatch? Why bother even researching, let alone using, purebred bombers and attackers in the mode at all?

A few hundred SL for an Abrams is just BS. Gaijin probably missed what happened last year.

Its definitely not high, but its also not very high skill.

If you kill a few of them the rewards to stack up suprisingly high.

I definitely myself usually try and pick up what I call a “Pity Howitzer” in top tier jet games to avoid the times when you dont end up getting a kill or any hits, it can turn a zero score game where you get no rewards into a good thousand RP game just from the one howitzer.

That is jot the same context we are talking about here. Those are the classic layout and it was mostly okey, and the new addition with ground AA and radar stations yield absolutely pathetic reward.
Also, if you don’t realise, in order to get reward equivalent to one kill, you pretty much need to take out all howitzer on a map - even it was easy for each single one of them, it’s hard to actually get it done.

You dont really.

You have to take out around 8-10 of them before itll equal one air kill.

I know this because Ive done it, last night in fact. Missed out on the air furball due to having to notch multiple ARHs taking me out really wide, and cleaned up around 8 ground targets before the game ended, which netted me nearly 3000RP.

Its defnintely not high, but its more than you’d think.

You know your RP income is 80% from activity right? If it is top tier as you were mentioning, then getting one kill and hang on till the end can reward you way more than 3000rp or so.

Considering games last about 5 minutes at most your reward across the board are complete ass no matter what you do.

Of course it is.

My whole comment was about in the case where you miss out on a kill or a hit on an enemy player, and need to scramble for some score to avoid the stupid big fat 0 Gaijin gives you otherwise.

Its literally why I said I call it a “Pity howitzer”

Im not arguing to go ground pound instead of fighting air to air FFS. Im saing that as a last ditch effort to gain some RP to make the match not a total waste of time, killing a few ground targets is more reliable than chasing the last remaining enemy with 5 other players hoping to be the one to get the kill on them, and the ground targets give you more RP than you’d think they would.
