Don’t generalize either us or the timeline. I was for the VT-4 being added to the That subtree. September, October and December were just not the right time to add them. Many (enough to consitute a more rational portion) of us were just arguing for a delayed action due to the concentration of events of the War of Resistance in these months (September being the month commemorating both Japan’s capitulation and the Mukden incident, October being the month of both PRC’s and ROC’s national day, and December being the anniversary of Nanking Massacre. And canceling Thai VT-4 would be a dumb move, since as mentioned the ZTZ’s problems wasn’t fixed with that update, such as the confirmed spall liner on ZTZ99A. Even the autoloader buff came as a sidestep as the Russians were getting buffed.

so clearly the problem here is that Russian tanks have no turret basket in game when they modeled it on western tanks purtly for the sake of nerfing them. they should either treat the auto loader like a turret basket or add 1 to the tanks that dont have them.

That’s the thing, if was done as a balance change I’m fine with it as long as it’s within the mechanical limits and they’re honest about it.

It’s the wheeling out documentation to justify it, without simply acknowledging it’s for balance purposes which gets my goat.
