Revising the Rate of Fire of the T-64, T-80, Т-72, ZTZ96, ZTZ99 Series and VT4, VT4A1 Tanks

I wonder how he haven’t thought of that one before.
It’s like they go out of their way to moan about a certain nation.

My dream would be if WT exactly simulates every single shell. And you, as player, has absolute and full controll over every single shell and shell type. Hangar screen, similar to the one for plane loadouts…and you can mouse-drag&drop every shell to any ammo rack you want. Finally save the setup. Would an awesome mechanic.

This would also silence the critics on idealized russian loading robots, as described above. And would fix some glaring issues like the Tiger I ammo order with that killswitch rack left/front, next to the driver…

On THIS forum???
Shocked
Some other examples of the top of my head would be the Begleitpanzer on Germany and Type 89 on Japan where they can instantly convert their entire ammo bins to a different type of shell. I’m sure there are many more if you looked.

That would be nice on the 4.0 Japanese tanks where Gaijin insists that the first stage ammo storage is in the hull with the commander standing on it.
It would also be cool being able to chose between having the ammo stored safely with a slower reload, or in a more vulnerable position for a faster reload…

Manual loaders are also pretty idealized.

T series dont have.

No one will care. No one uses anything but APFSDS.

If a longer MZ turn is simulated, everyone will simply use only APFSDS.

It won’t make any difference.

Speak for yourself.

People actually prefer using other munitions (including me) against different type of targets.

I switch ammo to match the target, if possible ofc. More with WW2 tanks, though. Cause top tier gameplay is so fast paced that any special tactics or adaptions aren’t neccessary. First merge, the losing side mostly 1 death leaves and rest is usually waiting for the tickets.

If people want to harm themselves, I don’t mind.

Same, I also use the same tactic against Russian tanks while playing with my VT4’s Xd.

Also I always carry HEAT-MP in my 120’s Abram’s against both soft targets and air targets.

Lets not forget glorious HESH round on good old chally’s as well.

Typical Ralin post, always believe he’s the right one.

You do you but don’t assume everyone agrees with your claims.

I was talking about the top tier.

You don’t need the ATGM, as it’s much worse than the APFSDS. You don’t need the HEAT shell. You can carry one or two HE shells, but that’s more of a hindrance than a benefit.

It’s logical that it’s a useful projectile because it does something better than the APFSDS.

If the T series had one, then yes, it would be worth using.

The funniest one for me was a M1A1 AIM that didn’t think he needed to hide his turret from my Type 16 while reloading… 105mm HESH to the gunners optic taught him the error of his ways.

T-Series has HE shell that can basically do the same job.

That’s why I always carry at least 5 HE round in my BVM/90M.

i dont think so

I’m not against it, but the vast majority don’t use it.

People here greatly exaggerate the importance of rotating the magazine for loading other shells. It won’t affect the vehicle’s effectiveness in any way. And once they realize this, they’ll start complaining again about a new feature, which, if fixed, will definitely nerf their tanks.

Magazine rotating isn’t needed considering any other tank can pull magically different types of ammunition from their ready rack.

As for the Russian HE it works wonderful against almost anything.

It’s true, but globally simulating this won’t change the balance in any way. Instead of a small number of players using a few projectiles, no one will use them at all.
Essentially, it’ll worsen gameplay.

Russuan tanks shiuld just get their turret baskets as well.

That will disable them even more.
Either they explode viontly from an ammo hit or the turret drive gets disabled and they are stuck
