My apologies, I am sure the country with the largest military budget, most sophisticated weapons and the inventor of Kevlar would have no idea how to seamlessly integrate it into their workhorse MBT.

There’s a really thin line between gatekeeping and filtering. When the filtering is inconsistent, opinionated, and dismissive, I’dd call it gatekeeping.
I work as a consultant and engineer. When I look at the issue reporting site, I see tons of non-issues (asking for balance/econ changes), duplicate issues, and issues that are left ignored. It appears that there isn’t much housekeeping being done.
The game has tons of potential, and a few critical issues that have not been fixed in a long time. It pains me to see the only thing getting attention is vehicles. I guess you can sell vehicles but can’t sell a bugfix…

same for all capabilities of russian tanks… just because it says on paper it can do X doesn’t mean it can do it, most of the time its a half truth… you find it hard to do the same for nato tanks, some times its even better… crazy…
man a year hasn’t taught anything about the performance of MBT’s of nato and russian tanks… im baffled.

Yeah they just make spall liners for Challenger 2 just for fun it not like their only 3 countries that ever used it and two of the got it from Britain

Do type 10 have spall liner?
we would give absolute data about what nato tanks have or don’t have but im quite tired of being on the news about that…
even public documents if you search hard enough state that they have…
or just common sense

That’s really pretty much the opposite of how it works. The “Dev” server is just that, it is there for development of new aspects to be put into the game, from vehicles, to maps, testing mechanics and many other things. The Dev server is there and open ALL the time for these things. To those that actually work on the development of the game, it has always worked this way. Gaijin “allows” others to access the Dev server for short periods of time prior to a new Update dropping. So they can get a look at the new things coming, messed around with them & yeah, report bugs that they find . . . that is how it works. An open Dev server is a trade off . . . players get access to a “private” server used for testing and development and in exchange, the Dev gets reports from players about how things may or may not be working. The only “Hype” involved comes from the players, content creators, streamers the FOMO crowd and those with zero patience I guess . . . lol. But it is basically a trade off. Does Gaijin create the hype? . . no, but . . . that’s not saying they do not approve either, as that is basically word-of-mouth advertising for their product . . why on earth do anything to dampen it? . . . this is the way. Look at game announcements and even movie/show stuff . . . they start blowing it up over a year ahead of time now . . . pretty ridiculous, but they are giving their “customers” what they want . . . gimmie gimmie gimmie . . . What goes on here with Gaijin & WT is pretty mild/tame compared to a lot of other “entertainment” practices . . . not everything people do not understand completely, is a sinister plot . . . . pro tip

The main thing thats important is that tanks that do have spall liners get them at the same time as the t90m
