well well well if it isnt the consequences of my teams actions
The problem isn’t only with the ”not a bug” tag. Why are your moderators arguing with people that ”nothing can be done anout it”? You are the devs, you can fix the bug if you want.
To be reasonable and fair, most of the Gaijin team here in the forums aren’t part of the Dev team. They’re just moderators. They can send information up the chain, but that’s about it.
Uh no… its a statement of fact.
Pictures and video’s can be edited hence cannot be counted as source. insert Not a bug Insert Closed
Incorrect. Video evidence for non-timed bug reports have always been allowed.
ariete The additional armor weight reaches 5000KG. What material can provide 20MM KE protection under the weight of an armor plate of about 1000KG?
I haven’t seen a video being approved as source even once. but i would be happy if i am wrong.
Video is also not listed as an acceptable source in WT own instructions for primary/secondary sources on the report site.
i would love to be proved wrong though.
Apparently the Strv 122s will still have better protection
Yea, but still is treated as a less viable source for some reason… Written things are taken over it. For example if there is a promotional video that says idk tank drive 60 kph, and there is a brochure that states the same, the brochure is more viable for some reason?
It isn’t. It’s treated the same as all other photography.
Ok i think i used the wrong word. They written sources are preferd over video sources. Even if they contain the same thing
The ‘Not a Bug’ tag is used when a report can’t generally be forwarded, this is especially the case for vehicles on the dev server.
Then it is bad tagging, then. Would it be fine to add a “Cannot be forwarded” tag for these now more common events instead?
And an optional question that a lot of us also ask ourselves sometimes: Why is Trickzzter so blunt and unclear on their messages? Isn’t Staff supposed to be more clear and elaborate further when closing a topic?
So when are you going to actually follow up with your blog post back in 2021…
[Development] Reports concerning the protection of post-war combat vehicles - News - War Thunder why are WE NEEDING primary sources on classified tanks for the majority of reports, bet you forgot about this claim back in 2021
would be nice if under the report type box all the rules of exactly what sources types etc are accepted were written. Would save everyone lot of trouble and reduce number of post
This is just random reply i picked to show from many. But how do we know before posting that thing we report cant be passed if the rules written on site are very bare bone and we have to guess. It will take some time to write them and they wont be perfect but there should be more info the process since it causes so many issues.
Mods, devs, people on the bug report forums all represent Gaijin. Splitting hairs on who is actually “developing” the game is meaningless pedantry.
Because not every employee at Gaijin has clearance or the title to put hands on keyboards to actually develop or change the game. Same thing goes for every other company. Splitting hairs in this regard is important for brevity.
Can’t be him, the spelling is correct
You plan to also add spall liners to the M60A1(RISE), right?
