KMW had a Powerpoint that showed mixed batches delivered to our Bundeswehr too. Those where later sold of to poland for example.

W h y.
And in terms of internal armor? Why can’t 2A7V’s turret withstand DM53 like each and every single other 2A5 Leopard onwards?

That isn’t true either. BW received as you already said, mixed vehicles. Some with D-technology inserts, some with C-technology… point is that there’s no reason to argue D-technology as an insert does not exist, Krapke & Hilmes both stated it does, and was implanted into old turrets during KWS. Now Lobitz & Zwilling state it 100% exists, and was implanted into the hulls of 2A7Vs (granted, it may not be 1:1 the 1990s version, since new designs exist, namely D-V scheme).

We don’t have an issue at all here then.
The Strv 122 B+ should have new internal hull armor that is better than the 430 KE one on the A, B and the 2A7V should have better internal armor than 2A5, A6 and PSO + an equal addon to the Strv.
So overall, buff 2A7V addon + buff both hulls internal armor.

Something else about the CV90s, they should have their Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) but so far they do not have it in-game.

Indeed. Even if they kept the armor just like 122’s (C tech + proper add-on), I would be happy enough, even if it should arguably be actually better than that.
But… why on EARTH has it got worse cheek armor and external add-on armor somehow!?

Gaijin the idea of the spall liner in the vehicles just increase the frustration with one more layer of rng. Is already super annoying hitting the side of any vehicle and not doing damage.
A better aprouch is just not adding this feature to any tank, because in the end of the day the achievement should be: we are having fun? And i think that everybody agree that this new mechanic probably is not going to be that rewarding
