The thing is usual Warthunder players cant compensate those disadvantages thats why we’re still getting kills with SARH missiles.
Although i think R27ER shouldnt be removed or butchered just because average US mains cant counter it should definitely get a better counterpart in this case.

It reminds me of how often Gaijin used to change repair costs and BRs based on player performance especially a few years back when American props were heavily downtiered.
Rather than butchering or removing the missile, they should just focus on improving themselves to play better and make fewer mistakes because there’s enough room for that.
We raised concerns because we had to. The Abrams is NOT represented well in-game. The M1A2 SEP onwards is KNOWN to have 3rd generation depleted uranium IN the hull armor aswell as the turret. How convenient that you do not touch on the most popular, most highly voted issue in the Dev server, the armor on the Leopard 2A7V, its reports have 2x more “upvotes” than every other issues here yet it is not mentioned at all? Please make a separate comment on this…

With its recent increase in weight I’d say it’s time to increase its armour as well.

I complete agree it is ridiculous, me and many others have been watching, upvoting, helping .etc. you report and others. Gaijin wanted sources stating that du was there, we provided it, they wanted proof it was in all units not just training ones, they wanted armour values. We gave them all of this and still nothing. I want to cry lol
Gaijin and refusing to give germany tanks, that are atleast comparable to their Swedish “counterparts”. Only their ignorance towards isreal and italy are more iconic
Besides it having the improved hull armor irl, it is also needed to prevent a huge imbalance between the SEPv2 and the T-90M/122B+/fixed 2A7V. The latter 3 will be miles better than the SEPv2 in it’s dev server form wirhout improved LFP armor.
With improved LFP armor all 4 of these could be moved to 12.0, maybe along with the VT-4A1 if it performs well enough. Leaving the old tanks and CR3 at 11.7.
I want this to be a major update so that I can fight strong and tough Abrams, not unfairly nerfed Abrams that can be easily destroyed. A strong and tough Leopard 2 has already been confirmed for implementation. My T-80BVM is hungry for a strong enemy.

To be fair, while I’d love to see 2A7V go from most powerful top tank to the most unbeatable top tank, I think fixing SEP’s armor issues to get it up to T-90M & 2A7V standards is a bit more important.

Well Germany players don’t want to be firing M322 or DM43, they prefer DM53, so 2A7V is just always going to be more powerful than Strv 122B unless they give the Swedes DM53 as well.
What I want to hear is a reasonable excuse for why anyone thought it would be okay to make the Su-27 so absurdly overpowered. 10 missiles, each of which is the best in its class, plus HMD on a plane that is faster and more maneuverable than what it faces, is absolutely ridiculous. Compare it to the F-15 - literally the ONLY advantage the Eagle has is slightly better acceleration. Four AIM-9M’s and the severely outdated AIM-7M is NOT enough to compete, not to mention no HMD. Side note - the R-27ER was a horrible addition that never should have come to the game, and every other nation with the capability should receive the AMRAAM as a counter.
Amount of missiles isn’t as big of a deal as you think, cause 4 of them you’re forced to have radar missiles, which are less effective than IR missiles.
R-27ER was necessary in order to compete against AIM-7Fs, as R-27R was only ever able to compete against 530Ds and AIM-7E-2s.
I think most german players want the DM63 (or even DM73) that it uses irl.
Saying the ER was necessary to compete with the 7M is like saying a machine gun is necessary to counter a lever action. It’s not even funny how ridiculously powerful the ER is (coming from someone who has a lot of experience with the missile).
For a tank that’s already going to be the most powerful next update, it doesn’t need those things.

No, it’s like saying Panther was needed to compete against M4A3E8 76mm Sherman.
R-27ER is not anywhere close to that powerful.
Have you even used the ER? It’s miles ahead of literally anything else. It’s 2M faster than anything it’ll face, can reliably hit targets well over 10 miles away, and has a datalink so you can basically LOAL them. I’ve played with and against them in many top aircraft and they’re just not even fair. Playing the MiG-29SMT is like setting the game to easy mode, and the Su-27 is going to make it even worse for everyone else.
