Theres hundreds of bug reports now if i read correctly that are still to be implemented, mechanics that need refined before this malarkey is added

Theres a much bigger weak spot on the left side of the abrams’ turret near the breach that will kill the commander, gunner, disable breach, turret ring and can penetrate into the ammo compartment, and its not a small weak spot either and its pretty easy to hit. Also literally all mbts have holes in their turret. Ive been consistently one shotting abrams into its lfp and ive pretty much stopped shooting the turret ring because of how much spall lfp penetrations create. Yes you can one shot the 99a by shooting the turret in a certain spot, but it usually only kills one crew member because youd have to be pretty lucky to hit a shot like that most of the time

Id like to see this weak spot cause while ive had shots wipe.me out its alway turret ring.

The ztz99 and wz1001 weak spots in the turret arw ridiculous mate you can near fire clean through the front of it.

The lfp of most tanks is a major weak point if you show it in an western mbt then youve made.a mistake

No, even with dm43 i can consistently one tap it through the turret.

And it happens to me in them.

The ztz99A or wz1001 suffer the same at 12.0, the m1a2 should not be 11.7 while tbey are 12.0

This is just stupid. M1 ofc doesnt get 1 tapped but it gets completely disabled and this weakspot is huge compared to ztz99

The wz1001 also get disabled or completed destroyed through the glaring gaps in the turret.

The drivers port as well.

The tank is objectively worse than the abrams.

  • worse reload by a lot
  • worse round by a lot
  • worse armour by a lot
  • faster in a straight line.
  • worse overall mobility compared to the abrams.
  • worse survivability compared to the abrams.
    (Yes im aware the abrams needs the fuel tanks, turret ring etc fixed and quite rightly so)

Same as every tank deserves the appropriate fixes

It is unbearable that during the process of resetting the 99A new model, gaijin not only weakened its armor performance, but also artificially created a weak point in the turret. This has resulted in 99A not only not improving, but also getting worse.
Gaijin created a huge triangular hole in the area near the bottom of the turret. and all related issues have been rejected. when I consulted the forum administrator, they absurdly asked me to submit issues. even though they knew that this method was deliberately obstructed. this forms a closed loop, like Soviet joke.

until now, the performance of the 99A(12.0) is still lower than the (11.7)M1A1aim . almost the same size of weak point area projection. or even more. but worse depression angle. even worse loading time. worse penetration of shells.

also too worse VT4, Its hull armor is still incorrect until now. the inclined area at the top still cannot eject the shell.

now, there is another imaginative VT5 .the designer has stated in multiple interviews that it can withstand 100mm shells. but gaijin allows it to be penetrated directly by machine guns.

It’s ridiculous that a game that loves to fabricate based on prejudice has such strict requirements for data

its absolutely criminal the state these tanks are left in, I got the wz1001 and bailed on them until some form of fixes are thought of

This I did not know at all, the VT5 IRL is actually an incredibly impressive piece of kit from what ive seen ,yet to inspect it ingame.
its sad theyre just cobbled together

Its wild to me that they do this and people just assume that the tank is great.
They are mobily but the reload, round, and armour are absolutely pathetic

I played my leon2a7 last night, and took a direct side hit into the turret basket, didn’t break the turret drive, and only killed the loader, so I don’t see what everyone in opposition is complaining about.

Yeah, it didn’t really do that much, but that trunnion thing i feel like adds to survivability to breech shots

The Leopard tank was not affected much by this update, but the Abrams tank is the one that was affected a lot. Now, hit the tank anywhere, really, even the engine will stop the turret.

Yep. Pretty much regardless of where you hit the Abrams, turret top or back of the engine, places where you have a good three to five feet of distance the actual turret ring and you take out the horizontal drive every. Single. Time.

Given the lack of follow up from the devs or CMs, I guess we are just SOL. Even post update, this change is pretty much still hated and yet nothing.

Honestly this would be better:
horizontal drive and basket modelled separately, which means: if the horizontal drive got hit = no turret traverse. Basket got hit = slower turret traverse

yeah turret traverse decrease when hit on the basket up to like 30% i wouldnt complain since its basically T-80s traverse speed because atleast i can still shoot back
and if the basket doesnt spall instead

lol, players want Russia nerfed, because they died to a Bt-5 at top tier, sorry, meant MBT-5

I said something similar about the auto loaders.
They should buff the health of them, because they’re so weak, then make it progressively take longer to reload past the yellow damage stage.

Destroyed → repair time 20 secs with ace crew.
