Reshuffles to the Ground Vehicle Research Trees in the Next Major Update

Hey everyone! With the release of the next major update, several ground vehicles in several research trees will be moved. Comparison images of the trees before and after the changes can be seen below. Check it out!

These changes are aimed at improving the research trees structure. Affected vehicles are marked with a special icon in the game.

We’re announcing upcoming changes in advance to give you the opportunity to plan your tech trees research with an understanding of how the tech trees will look in the near future.

Israeli IFVs still make little sense but I suppose foldering SPHs is welcome no matter how you slice it.

That’s pretty nice. Although I have even better idea, folder them with M24 and it would be awesome.

It is really inconsistent to put the M44/55 at Rank 2 in some trees and Rank 3 in others. This is a copy paste vehicle. It should be in the same rank for every TT

why german m44 and m55 go to rank 2 while other nation stay at rank 3

Moving vehicles from rank 3 back to rank 2 ( in this case german M44/M55) will never be an improvement!

Copy from Rumor-Roundup as this is the topic for it.

I hope there has been some kind of mix up with this.

If not, I would like a reason why Germany is the only nation losing the pretty good M44/55 from Rank 3, therefor making them useless for Task/Challenge grind.

Similar to how Germany currently is the only nation without a Rank 3 light tank for spotting/repair tasks.
The M41 is now at 6.7, which is kinda ridiculous to allow such an imbalance.

Yes the M44/55 is a better vehicle compared to the Stug and Panzer IV.
It has a .50cal which is a huge improvement in defensive capabilities against Aircraft and open-top vehicle.

Either

  1. It is time to remove the Rank 3 requirement for Tasks and Challenges.
  2. This change will be expanded to all M44/55 Nations.
  3. This change will just not happen.

I would prefer option 1. as this would also solve the light tank issue and avoid similar problems in the future.

I wonder if the skins are going in the crates which might explain why they’re so late
