I think researching Rail/Pylon Types versus researching the Munitions for Aircraft would be better for most vehicles since then it would translate better to what munitions aircraft are able to have, we already sort of see this with certain rockets such as LAU-10/A and LAU-3/A on the F-14A/B Tomcats, and F-4 Phantoms. I think that it would enable secondary munition loadouts to be easier to make even if more tedious, and it would enable for more creative weapon kits than what Gaijin provides.
