In version 2.55.1.80, the PL-12 underwent a change where “missile autopilot parameters have been adjusted, resulting in missiles being more stable on their trajectory.” This change has led to the PL-12 locking onto its rudder at full speed. As a player who has deeply explored the Chinese Air Force tech tree, I have long been troubled by the issues with the PL-12 series missile. I hope that once this report is accepted, the developers will fix the issue on the DEV server — we truly need this highly distinctive missile.

The issues with the PL-12A and PL-12 missiles have been frustrating many players who enjoy flying Chinese aircraft for a long time. We really hope the developers will address these issues in the next update.
Since May of this year, the overload bug im the pl12 has seriously affected most Chinese faction planes from 13.0 to 14.7,causing a lot of trouble for players and greatly impacting vehicle strength. Gaijin should fix this problem as soon as possible.

Actually, it’s not a buff — it’s just restoring the values stated on the stat card. After the last modification, the PL-12 series in the game has had a bug that prevents it from reaching its full overload capability.

Chinese aircraft tech tree is a unique one in warthunder. considering pl12’s role in chinese tt , gaijin should definitely strengthen its ablility. at present, pl12’s performance didn’t match its BR at all, the worst fox3 for sure. it is a pity for players who love chinese tt around the world

I wouldn’t say its a very unique air tree yet. Currently in game it has like three truly indigenous designs, The j10’s, JF-17, and JH-7A Everything else is basically just another countries vehicle or a modification of it especially given a lot of difference aren’t represented in game.
