As a passionate War Thunder player, I truly appreciate the effort and detail that goes into the game, especially in representing the diverse military vehicles from around the world.
I’d like to kindly request the ability to apply any decals and insignias to any vehicle, regardless of its nation of origin. This feature would allow players to express their creativity and personal connection to specific nations or cultures they admire, beyond the constraints of historical affiliation.
Whether it’s flying a french plane with a hungarian triangle or putting a Japanese insignia on a soviet tank, this added freedom would not only enhance the personalization of our vehicles but also allow us to express national pride or solidarity in unique and meaningful ways.
I understand the importance of historical accuracy, and this could be implemented as an optional feature—perhaps limited to non-historical battles or made toggleable in the customization settings—ensuring it doesn’t interfere with immersion for those who prefer realism.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I and many others in the community would love to see this level of customization made possible in War Thunder.
