I’ve just had a game on fulda where I started in the Type 74F, got hit and picked up a kit for the crew replenishment

later respawned in the Type 16P where the same thing happened, so I picked up a kit and instead it fully restored my vehicle like it used to

okay, I have a working theory: picking up a repair kit with repairable damage seems to fix your tank completely. Just crew members missing or yellow/repaired components won’t restore your vehicle but you will still get ammo/bonus FPE/Crew Replenishment

Negative. No matter where I’m driving over equipment pickups, as of yesterday evening I don’t get any repairs, no fixing of “cosmetic” damage (skirts blown off, extra holes in the turret or mantlet), no healing, no replacing crew members. (13/10/25, 4:15 CEST)

Ammo and a replenishment charge, that’s it. Can’t speak for Sinai, Fulda, or anything above BR 6.3 because it’s been a long time since I played any of that.

Also, my game client is at 2.49.0.59,. the change log stops at .54

Yea I havent had any repairs even to yellow portions of vehicles like it did in the past, simply just gives me ammo/charges and on my way. I mostly have been doing 8.3+ and have had this same thing across all the maps. Have tried multiple vehicles, but always the same repair issues, I will have to test other nations as I have only tested via Italy, France and Japan… but seems to be same issues still.

  • Bradley clip: damaged but repaired manually with lost crew = just an ammo refill + FPE
  • Type 74 #1: two lost crew no damage = same again
  • Type 16P (same game): Lost crew with a damaged gun breech = vehicle restored

tested it more in another game with the 74 and it repaired consistently if I had knocked out components

I play Assault every day and this bug keeps happening to me.
Very inconvenient as I sometimes play tanks that don’t yet have the Parts modification.

Playing around some more:

  • VT4A1 was the same as before, repairable damage = full restore
  • Completely stock M47 (no parts); it didn’t work, even with the .50 on the roof destroyed

This is making me wonder. What sort of mistake was made to NOT have the error in some BR brackets, and then not on every vehicle?

Had an interesting situation last night, using kf41, damage to both sides of vehicle, hit the repair/rearm icon, it repaired left side but not right, as well as did not restore aps charges as it nornally should.

So im not sure what algorithm may be causing issues as even the same vehicle it seems to be inconsistent, albeit at least with kf41 i have not had a full reset as it normally should…

These discrepancies lead me to believe it was not intended to be working how it currently is… but again we may not see a fix for a while due to lack of others adding to report… and due to it negatively affecting players, whereas anything positive would have been fixed asap lol…usually the case anyways. (wagers in heli pve come to mind, haha)

So far from what I have seen, doesn’t look like anything related to upcoming update will address any issues either with this…

Once thing I have noticed is that if I do sustain damage that requires repair… but haven’t initiated repair, and can still move, I can sometimes get the damaged parts to repair to 100% when I grab the icon…

however, if I repair first, then move to the icon, it remains at the repaired state and does not repair to 100%, not withstanding already the issues of crew replenishment, etc.

As of now, I do not think they are eager to fix this issue, ticket still open with no updates.

I may have mentioned this before, since my ticket has been open now for over a month I’m expecting this to get the same treatment as the stacked spawns from the beginning of this year: no mention is ever made in any change log, fixed in the next major patch.

Very true, I dont really expect any info either, other than us just noticing it, as we have in the past with other issues in the mode… and informing each other.

Unfortunately the problem hasn’t been fixed in the new patch. The equipment pickups are still malfunctioning the same way they did since Tusk Force, no improvement at all. No repairs, no healing, and if you lose crew members…

Noticed that myself last night, was only able to do a few rounds but… seems like nothing done about it yet.

Also noticed Sinai has changed terrain a bit, again, and ai driving through rocks,again, lol.

The bots have major advantages in the collision department. For players tank remains and blown-off turrets lying on the ground are impenetrable, they just absorb the rounds, while the bots can drive and shoot through either.

Also (that took me a moment to figure out) there’s a sound notification for kill assists, very similar to a small-caliber round bouncing off. I kept looking around for some muppet shooting at me…

Oh yea, I noticed that as well… I am not sure why they needed to do that, it is especially odd when in aircraft…

I doubt that before the end of year this repair icon issue will be fixed…

whoa… what the heck happen to Ardennes… the terrain has been completely messed up… its like the hill we start in has been reversed into a crater, but the sandbags, etc. were kept at the original height…

They changed the map without changing anything with Assault, kind of annoying, you can now get shot from a few new places in that screenshot (used to be one of my favourite spots).

What actually surprised me is that I’ve never seen anybody complaining about floating fortifications at Ardennes. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t a problem, just that I never heard of it. The moment Gaijin announces that the problem I never heard of has been fixed, I have it.

Here’s the not-so-fun part, my equipment pickup ticket doesn’t have “accepted” as status, even after two months.

Edit: just got Ardennes, the fortifications aren’t floating anymore, but the whole map feels like up and down have been inverted. The base is now in a bowl instead of a flat hill, and everything is decidedly weird.
