that it just remove all up tiers down tiers all of it i will wait in the que for a few more seconds just to be at my chosen br. I think its ok to be up tiered or down tiered be .3 difference but when i spawn my AML 90 at 7.7 and i see gepard at 8.3 that’s a little to far it may not sound like a lot but over those few br changes technology also changes i don’t know if I’m being a princess let me know
It’s a problem of 35mm AAs being stupidly overpowered, not uptier/downtier problem.
You will still die to them in AML, but they won’t be spammed nearly as much if they finally receive a proper nerf.

Huge understatement, you overestimate how many players are online at the same time playing the same BR zone and same mode as you, if you don’t do uptiers and downtiers some lineups will have a much harder time getting into a match.

First, not everyone is willing to do that, second, some BRs are just not that played at all since they lack lineups.
My advice is to learn the vehicles you are using and learn to take out significant opponents that are 1BR higher. I admit situations like a faceoff with a Tiger II in a Tiger I is kinda bad but it’s far from impossible. That Gepard in the other team probably got dumped on by a bunch of T72s, so it’s pretty much the same for everyone. Just deal with it
when i play simulator battles i wait around 5min and im still fine as long as im at my BR
every match you play start a 7 minute timer before queuing up and then see how you feel, also with this type of system many BRs will become sad, there are only like 5 11.0 tanks in the game rn so good luck to anyone who wants to play that
All vehicles can compete just fine 1BR above. Some vehicles do it much better than others (for example, some heavy tanks are better played at their own BR). That’s why lineups exist. Even your example is a poor one. Yes, the Gepard will eat your AML on sight, but you are small and sneaky and your shell will destroy him on sight easily, too.

Less variety
Stronger meta
This is a often “forgotten” effect…with no uptier each match would be filled with the same vehicles…often the strongest at that specific BR…would be way more boring…
THAT SAID…would like to see the effect of a reduction to 0.7 spread…even if i think that the uptier complaints are way exaggerated (at least in tanks AB).

As other players already commented, your idea to remove uptiers/downtiers would destroy MM/queue times.
