Remove ULQ Graphic Setting

Ah yes, remove ULQ, everyone can play on low at least. Well, my notebook with integrated GPU would like to disagree(30fps is a peak). Yes i should not play wt on it, but i do, small amounts so it does not burn itself. And no, i cant buy myself a new PC, you would be surprised how much things cost these days. But hey, i guess i will be forced to sell a kidney to buy myself a PC, as the ULQ should not be a thing.

I already responded to that and even changed it in the original Post

Intel’s Integrated graphics sucks. I use Intel’s integrated graphics myself. If only intel made it to work like AMD’s APUs

This topic simply makes no sense. Do you think, that if the game could be played on anything using Medium, the ULQ and LQ would exist?

Well thats where something like a Hardware check would come in then or have the Game run a Benchmark like many games do (Nvidia also can set the Games Graphics Settings automatically for you) to see what settings your computer can run

And in like every other Game this wouldn’t even be a debate, WT is the single only Game i know of which offers something like ULQ and its simply a fact that theres people who don’t need it but abuse it so there needs to be something done.

And for the future when they do decide to overhaul / upgrade the Games graphics its not safe that ULQ survives that.

Steam also said to shut down Windows 7, some Computers can’t run Windows 10, some don’t want to upgrade but they have to. But on Windows 7 you can’t access / launch any Games anymore via Steam.

People have to upgrade their Rig at some point and you just simply can’t take care / wait for every single Human on Earth

I have played this game on both a MacBook Pro and an iMac, and it is not stable on medium graphical settings. My hardware is far from “ancient” (I bought my MacBook Pro last year), but I need to play on ULQ graphical settings to maintain an acceptable FPS throughout matches.

I tested it on a Computer with an Vega 8 iGPU and got the Game to work on medium settings (well some sutff on low but overall on medium)

Vega is not the only thing on the market, and AMD is doing a good job with their integrated gpu

What does this has anything to do with my situation?

Here is what Vega 8 iGPU can do

Thats not what Game Masters do

That FPS is comparable to what my MacBook Pro achieves even on ULQ graphical settings, possibly little lower, but close enough.

You might want to keep the discussion to the topic haha.

Thats the point. Vega 8 is a good iGPU, and taking is as a measurment to say EVERYTNIG can do it is just wrong.

Yes i know but an iGPU is usually like…way worse than most dedicated GPUs, the one in Starfield Video is also from new higher end CPU the one i tested was just a Ryzen 3 2200G (i think)

So usually if an cheap iGPU can run it, most GPUs can. Stuff like a Nvidia 750 (doesn’t even cost 50 Euro on Ebay) and upwards definitely can and on a GTX 1060 i played myself yeeeaaaars ago on more demanding games than WT and most expensive i found isnt even 100€

My point is, Vega 8 is a good iGPU, that can pull out decent fps in many games, sadly other things like Mac or Intel based are not guaranteed to do as good.
That is why ULQ is needed, so those who do not have high or even medium end PC can play the game.

Somewhere in my stash of game admin memories is a small unassuming glass bottle with a cork stopper full of the tears of those I banned for illicit activity.

On the back of the bottle it reads: May contain traces of excuses such as Git Gud, Skill Issue, ULQ and I wasn’t cheating honest.

And some people in third world countries dont have that kind of money you privileged inconsiderate prick.
Just want them not to be able to play anymore because your having skill issues?
