That picture need a bit explication.
Im trying cross near the bunker section in straight line but suddenly my tracks was absorbed by the wood a then my tank just turn into the trench. Is like all wooden and surroding was extremly bad modelled.
Impossible if you try cap or fight in that zone.
It s me or some people is happy wtih the game is a crap bug fest???
Gaijin just do the same like in this area of Easten Europe. Just replace the trenchs for regular ground.
A small change but a big improvement for the game play.
“The test range has trenches on it so you can learn how not to get stuck on them.” ought to be a wait screen tip.
Maybe need a tutorial how deal with the insane number of terrain bugs or hitboxes made with the ass in practically every map.
This is just a very old map, and it’s probably going to get a rework sooner or later, with all the trenches in the middle of the church flattened or gone for good.
If I remember correctly, tanks had alot traction and much better climbing ability in WT. But players complained about ‘ludicrously powerful positions’ players used to reach. You could climb alot hills and similar obstacles which you can’t nowadays. So this was nerved. Tank tracks have almost no grip anymore and you slide down slopes. Alot hills and interesting map zones were removed. Either directly or with offmap timers.
The modelling might not be great.
But those trenches (and same ones in other maps) are just brutal.
Until they fix the modelling, I agree the trenches should be removed.
Tanks have a max incline in their specs.
If the specs were correct, the whiners can just go pound sand.
If the specs were incorrect, Gaijin should have updated the tank in-game specs.
