The entire 6.7-7.7 battle rating depends on the tigers,
therefore any sort of your grudge on the tiger would significantly affect the player base.
And don’t say any such silly reasons like its historically accurate etc. And there is no such valid reason for nerfing it, and it is evident that you seriously hate the germany playerbase!!!
Tiger 2 has not been nerfed, an erroneous aspect of the tank was fixed.
You also only speak for yourself.
Gaijin does not hate me for correcting my Tiger 2s from being incorrect.
“Dont give me a valid reason”
If there is any german hate, it is not going to be found in their ground forces.
You will have to adapt a little bit.
theres a massive german ground playerbase in game, iirc they even have their own discord
you have to embrace realism
yes tbh
I’d even go further and say this nerf probably increases the Tiger IIs performance because now you’re almost forced to play it like a heavy tank
Can we get a “nerf” that causes a player to look to the left and right every 20sec or so?
If you want to bring back overdriving the engine, give tanks Manual Engine Controls like for aircraft.
With planes, you can overboost and use max RPM. Results are engine failure within a few minutes unless the plane in question was optimized to be able to handle such for longer periods of time (e.g.: Yaks were built to be ran at full throttle and full RPM. Bf109G2 is rated for full throttle/combat power (2600 RPM, 1.3 ata for 1310 HP at sea level) for 30 minutes. Bf109G4 is rated to go higher than this at (2800 RPM, 1.42 ata for 1480 HP at sea level) for a whooping 1 minute! Both planes have Db605A engine, one simply has its controls “unlocked” for emergency power).
In Il-2GB, doing emergency 109 starts wrecking your engine outright. In Warthunder, it causes massive heat build-up (which you can counter with radiators - you can WEP the bf109F4 way longer than 1 minute without overheating if you play with prop pitch and radiator. Drawback: playing with prop-pitch can over-rev engine and kill it. Just rads can be enough though to push it beyond 1 minute). (I mention F4 as I dont fly G4s but same logic)
If you model something comparable for the Tiger 2 (and other tanks), go right ahead.
While the engine stat changes are historically correct, the Sla.16 in particular has lost its power due to a failure to adapt the gearing for the new rpm. It loses far too much power in high gear, and can only reach it’s erroneous new top speed on a downhill slope.
Can someone please tell me what the nerf is? Or link me a post or something?
A bug report fixing an error with the tank is not a nerf. It’s bringing the tank closer to what it’s supposed to be. Whether this buffs or nerfs the tank doesn’t matter.
