I´ve seen a similiar post in german, but there is pretty much no info…
The Avenger was never at D-Day and the US never fielded a Skink, nor did it see much service at all.

Then they can change those as well, but right now those 2 aren’t my concern, my concern is to get the Ostwind II Ost removed from the pack and get the Ostwind Ost added. Maybe in the future I’ll make a discussion about it but right now I want to focus on this Vehicle.
There is no reason to change them. You’re complaint barely makes any sense.

It’s makes plenty of sense, there’s no reason to have a special premium version that makes it battle hardened, if there would be no way for it to get a battle hardened look, gaijin has removed certain vehicles on the past to them being unrealistic, this is WT not WOT.
World of Tanks is more accurate than WarThunder in many ways. The main example being the E100. The Tiger 1H in this game is also misnamed.

considering only the hull was built (partially) the version gaijin added was more realistic considering it coudlve actually been made before the war ended
why would you want that, the packs arent supposed to represent a historical use of vehicles, its just three vehicles of a similar BR and time period decorated to represent a certain theme, replacing the ostwind 2 with just an ostwind is a completely necessary nerf to the pack.
its exactly why the russian 3 vehicle pack got a captured german AA, because russia has no good ww2 AA anywhere near the IS2 in BR, sure having a premium milk truck would be hilarious but not exactly useful

The Maus turret cannot physically go on the E100. The turret is too heavy for the chassis. World of Tank’s has a much more reasonable and likely design. The simplified turret was planned for the Maus eventually.

the original turret for the e100 wouldve only been 10 ton lighter than the maus turret, and considering the e100 had a better engine and suspension. the point of the lighter turret was to make the tank more practical (lighter, less resource intensive, and faster), not because the e100 hull couldnt physically bear the weight of it, and lets remember only one of the two had a turret be built
the IR- panther was real (nachtjäger) it was just regular panther g whit ir equiment, secondly. Commanders cupola has sensor and small IR spotlight, systems range was abaut 400 metres, and ir panthers worked whot skfz 251 ( UHU ), which had huge infra red spotlights

When did I complain? The User I replied to wants the Ostwind II removed from the Tiger bundle because it’s not accurate, and I corrected him by stating the Avenger and Skink aren’t either. The point of the packs is not to be accurate, but to be great value bundles to grind a tech tree with.

Don’t forget the Crusader AA Mk II, also not a vehicle that saw service in Overlord. It was instead the Mk III as all Mk II’s were deemed unfit for battle.
The US Pacific pack also has a Korean War Sherman dressed up as a WW2 one. Though it’s very hard to tell if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

The Ostwind II is in the pack because it matches the BR of the Tigers giving a good lineup. Same as why the Skink is in the US pack instead of an M16 or M19 which would be under BRed for the Shermans they are paired with.
Its a game not a simulator.
There are many tanks in the game that never saw combat or were just prototypes. There would be hardly anything in the tech tree. The only tanks I have a problem with are the ones that never even had a prototype (ho-ri production I will hunt you down)
Can we get rid of the US Pacific Skink? Dumbest thing ever to see wooden add-on armour on a vehicle that:
- The US never used or wanted.
- Only saw a singular instance of service with the Canadians in Europe under the command of British/Commonwealth forces.

The Ostwind 2 as it is in game actually is as far has having not existed at all like literally less historical then the Coelian
