Remove the Ostwind Ost

In the 2 Fronts pack they should replace the Ostwind II Ost with an Ostwind or Wirbelwind in the Ost style. The reason they should do this is because it’s historically inaccurate! The Ostwind II only had one prototype made that never saw combat while the Ostwind and Wirbelwind did see combat.

the overlord pack literally has an avenger and the hell pack has a skink. accuracy does not matter to gaijin anymore

So what? there’s very little “historically accurate” about WT other than the models themselves.

They removed the Panther II because it didn’t exist, same with the E-100

E-100 still exists. Panther II didn’t IRL. Ost II did, as a prototype none the less. Prototypes are allowed, such as the wealth of Obj.s in soviet tree: 906 120 685 210 279. THey all exists as singular vehicle and this is not a concern of Gaijin.

gaijin promotes the game as this historical combat sim game meanwhile proceeds to make historical inaccuracies at mach holy jesus christ

It’s still my stance that Historical accuracy only matters to an extent. Once it ruins the fun, it should go out the window for most games. This is why I disaprove of removing existing vehicles even if they aren’t entirely real.

coelian exists but it got removed “prototypes are allowed” meanwhile removes said prototypes

It isn’t removed. It still exists but just set as gift vehicle that won’t come back any longer. It could still return but we don’t know.

E-100 was a event vehicle only, not like Panther II in the tech tree …

half of it existed, the half that was the hull of a panther, the turret was a wooden mockup

I doubt they will change that bc they sold it in a bundle and removing the better spaa for the ostwind. Its a different vehicle so I doubt they will do it(bc its bought)… but I would think they make an earlier ost/ west pack with like panzer 4 maybe a stug and an spaa… atleast this is something I can imagine…

while limited, evidence for their existence does exist

it is also this source that states that no anti-air on a panther chassis went past the wooden mockup stage due to them not being including on the “emergency armaments production program” meaning no funds were allocated to their production, along with a number of other factors including that the armed forces did not want to provide a panther hull for an anti-aircraft tank (I assuming in terms of production, not feasability testing),

Oh but here’s the thing, I’m not asking Gaijin to remove the Ostwind II out of the game, I’m saying they should replace the Ostwind II in the 2 fronts pack with an Ostwind, because since the Ostwind II never saw combat, it would never get a battle hardened look, also what they could do (like with many other vehicles they’ve removed from the game) is let all people who’ve already purchased the 2 Fronts bundle keep their Ostwind II Ost, but they’ll also be given the new Ostwind Ost, and all players who buy the pack after the update will get the Ostwind Ost, not the Ostwind II Ost.

source? and not brochure

that is not a brochure

why would WW2 germany make a brochure for an AA they build in wartime, in english?
